Quick review of Breville JK32
Review of Breville JK32 by ajdm48

I also bought this kettle in a hurry, and regretted it. The anticalc filter in the spout became blocked with calcium in hard water before any significant scale had built up in the rest of the kettle, and then the kettle wouldn't pour without dribbling . Initially I wasn't able to remove the filter to descale it and the only way to improve things was to descale the whole kettle and tilt it so that the vinegar or whatever soaked the filter. After writing my initial review I discovered that the filter would come out if pulled with pliers, but by then it was knackered. But at least it pours.

Advantages: boils fast
Disadvantages: water spils out

i bought this kettle from argos as my last one broke. it was fine to start with - maybe for the first 2-3 months then it started to leak?? after its boiled when you tilt it to pour it sort of spils down the front and drips off the bottom? ive tried everything to stop it - pouring slowly - taking out the filter but the only thing that seems to stop it is by wrapping a towel around the top while your pouring! which really is pathetic! to pour water ...
