Advantages: Good instruction book and easy to use Disadvantages: large and a little bulky
...I bought a breville breadmaker as I wanted to be able to make my own bread free of additives.
The breville bread maker comes with a comprehensive instruction and reciepe book. Also with the bread maker comes a beaker for measuring out the water and a spoon that measures a tablespoon at one end and a teaspoon at the other.
The bread maker can make different size loaves and the reciepe book gives the amounts needed. You can also choose the type of crust you require it has three settings. I have always used the crustiest setting, as in a breadmaker it's never as crusty as the oven.
To make bread in the breadmaker for the reciepes you will need butter, salt, yeast, milk powder, water and strong flour. The recieps that come with it tell you the order in which to place your ingredients.

Advantages: Easy to use, boils quickly, inexpensive Disadvantages: Lid is difficult to remove, filter is fiddly to remove

In my opinion a kettle is a kettle is a kettle and I didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money on some fan dangled, all singing, all dancing appliance with built in FM radio, crazy frog ring tone, Bio Rhythm predictor and remote control for the space shuttle ! I just wanted...

We bought this fantastic machine today, and are very impressed with it on the very first day! Cost £49.99 from argos. The first thing we extracted were oranges. We used 5 oranges, and it filled up the whole jug. So that gives you a estimate of 4 - 6... more
