Advantages It boils water, can get rotated to any suitable angle
Disadvantages gauge only useful in good lighting conditions, lid restricting the already small opening for filling
To be fair, we have got the kettle for £15 and I do not think it is worth one more cent. No comparance to the design and quality I am used by Breville. Looks like they wandered round to see how cheap the cheapest kettles are made and transferred that in brushed stainless steel. Judging from what I see and the noise level I do not think it is twin walled (insulated). None of the features I loved at my old Breville JK71 is present.
