    Advantages Advantages Wonderful addition to any wooden train set

    Last weekend we went to railway museum, as they offer a ride on a real steam train to see Santa, and this is part of our yearly Christmas tradition. Another part of the tradition is choosing a small toy at the gift shop on the way out. Well this was £11, so a bit more than I usually spend, but it's a lovely toy and will be a brilliant addition to our wooden train set. Brio's Flying Scotsman is not wooden like most of their items.     Shall we play trains today? I am looking at the Flying Scotsman Made by Brio. Brio has been making wooden toys for a long, long time. Brio, a Swedish firm now multinational began in 1884 as a basket making company and developed to making wooden toys wooden trains are brilliant toys. Brios also make prams, cots, high chairs and car seats. The flying Scotsman toy train is a wooden train built to go with the brio wooden train sets.     Brio has been around for years. I remember my 18 yr old brother having loads od brio sets with tracks laid all over the house. My boy went through a stage where he loved trains. He has a thomas the tank set amongst cheaper sets all plastic and ended up with bits missing and broken. Brio is fantastic, its all made from wood and is hard wearing. I got this set for £49.99 from a wooden toy catalogue but it can be bought online from amazon and various other websites.
