I mainly drink water and very rarely drink fruit juices or squash. I feel that water keeps me hydrated throughout the day and helps to keep my skin looking nice and healthy and well as keeping my body hydrated. I went through a stage of drinking bottled water, but then thought this was quite expensive to buy every week when shopping as I would have to buy a few of the 6 pack's of large bottles of water. Advantages Pure, clean water.
Disadvantages None so far

Whilst filling my water filter jug the other day, and getting ready to place it back in the fridge…… I dropped it ! Oh Gawd !! What the heck am I going to do now ? Buy a new one of course….. Perusing the Argos Book, and various websites, I had not come to a conclusion as to which one to choose, there are so many. Anyway, it was once again, time for a shopping trip. We made plans to go to our local Tesco in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, Leicestershire. Shopping in Tesco is never easy for us, as Georgia seems to hate the place. Advantages It is easy to hold and rids my water of all nasty impurties and makes it taste better

I have a lovely water filter from Brita called a Cool Elemaris and it fits lovely into the sides of my fridge door. I paid £17 for this one and it holds 1.6 litres of water, which is a good amount for me because there is only me in the house. I like to use filtered water because I fid it tastes better than it does if I just get it out of the tap. I think it reassures me to know that I am drinking water that is filtered. It has a lovely shaped handle which is good for getting a nice grip and I am able to hold onto the jug even when the water level is full. It is made of plastic but it is a ... more

We live in a hard water area in Bristol and are always having problems with limescale - we've been through many kettles in the last few years. My husband and I are used to the taste of the water now, so we don't really notice it, but when we have visitors they often complain about the drinks we serve. So, we were thrilled when my parents bought us a Brita Elemaris Cool Water Filter jug for Christmas along with a refill pack of 3 MAXTRA cartridges. I was always sceptical about whether I would appreciate a water filter as I have always considered the water to be good enough, well with one slight exception when Anglia Water polluted the water supply for Northampton, however at a friends house one time I had a glass of water from a Brita Water Filter and it just tasted nicer, no idea why exactly it just did and ever since we have used one in our house. Maybe it is just in my mind but given that the water that passes through a filter is purer reasuures me a bit more. I paid £16.99 for my jug which is a nice enough size as it fits in the ... more

Advantages The water tastes better than previous filters, it's much easier to fill and use.
Disadvantages Still takes quite a bit of cleaning but again, a step up from the original jugs

Having owned and used a Brita water filter on a regular basis for several years, I couldn't resist purchasing the Elemaris when I saw it on offer at a bargain price on the shelves of our local Asda. My original filter jug was full of water, so the first thing I did on unpacking the Elemaris was to pour a glassful from each jug to compare them. I was pleased to observe that the water in the glass poured from the Elemaris appeared cleaner and much clearer than that from my old faithful. I'm using Brita Elemaris water filter few months. I'm very happy with Brita. The water is clean, tasty, non chlor, non calc and ver, very health. One filter is for month.
