Well where to start, I live in the south of england
in what I consider a damn hard water area.
I always avoided drinking our tap water because of its
Chlorine treated taste and if I did drink it,it would
normally only be with Ribena or orange squash so as to
mask the taste.

...about it. We saw a Brita Mistral filter reduced by a few pounds in Safeway, along with a 4 for the price of 3 pack of cartridges so we decided to try it.
The difference it makes is tremendous. Our ghastly, stinking North Surrey Water finest is now sweet and delicious. I'm never one for going over the top so believe me, it does work exceedingly well and the fltered water produced tastes really fresh.

My old water filter is a casualty of building works, it got crushed.
So when I was in tesco’s I decided to buy another. They only had 2 on offer both britta filters I bought the family 2 litres for £11 when the kitchen is finished we intend to get a filter to put on the drinking water tap.
