Britain's Got Talent? Definitely

AdvantagesGood entertaining show to watch if you've got an hour to spare

DisadvantagesShameless input of manipulative producers

"BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT 2009 (Note before you begin - This is a pretty long review as I wanted to cover all of Britain's Got Talent, so by all means don't read all of this if it doesn't interest you, it's hopefully quite clearly subtitled so just skip to whatever bits interest you, if any) == Intro == Talent in Britain is something that doesn't come around too often, especially if you're following the latest attempts of our various sports teams. But ..." Read review

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!

AdvantagesGreat Fun show!

DisadvantagesOften critisised by the press, rumours.

"...following the hit reality series Britain's Got Talent. I've enjoyed the “tea time” entertainment and have found it immensely satisfying to watch. It's been a greatly amusing to watch the terrible acts that think they are brilliant and equally as amusing and enjoyable to watch the good, talented acts who will clearly go to the final. As well as all the initial entertainment it's but great fun to guess between me and my friends as to who will win and ..." Read review

Britains does have talent . . . . but not everyone has talent!

AdvantagesGreat entertainment, Guaranteed tears and laughter

DisadvantagesSome stupid acts which have no chance, The pressue on the contestants.

"***ABOUT BRITAINS GOT TALENT*** I’m sure nearly everyone will have heard of or watched this show at some point. This show first hit our screen’s in 2007 and was shown on ITV, and was presented by the fabulous Ant and Dec. The aim of this show is to find a suitable person with talent who can perform at the Royal Variety Show in front of the queen. Not only do they get the chance to perform in front of royalty but they also get to win a massive £100,000 ..." Read review

'When I say 'Britain', you say 'Talent''...Britain's got talent!

AdvantagesEntertainment, humour, the auditions, the judges and of course THE TALENT!

DisadvantagesWhen it's all over and we have to wait another year!

"...I look forward to watching Britain's Got Talent every year. Despite my other half's protests, I watch every episode and find it entertaining, interesting, cringe-worthy at times, hilarious at others and tear-jerking at moments. But the burning issue is: does Britain actually have talent? 'Britain's Got Talent' was first aired in June 2007. The objective is to find an act worthy of performing at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Royal ..." Read review

The talented few outway the talentless many

AdvantagesComical opening auditions with many laughs

Disadvantagesbecomes a little boring once the semi finals kick in

"Britain’s got Talent, _(or BGT to give it its more 'hip' name)_, is a talent show (obviously) which was first aired in 2007 on ITV 1. The winner of the show receives a prize of £100.000 and a chance to perform in front of a Royal member in the Royal Variety Performance The show is presented by _Anthony McPartlin_ and _Declan Donnelly_ (aka Ant and Dec from Byker grove), with a sister show called Britain’s got more talent aired on ITV 2 and hosted ..." Out of 60 million people someone must have talent

Advantages.

Disadvantages.

"Britain’s Got Talent … Or Has It? I have to start by saying that I did not religiously watch this show but instead was more casual viewer. I watched some of the auditions and then the odd show here and there and then the final few shows to see who won and who went home with nothing. You see reality TV doesn’t really do it for me; I see reality everyday and prefer my TV to be a fantasy as possible, living on a council estate I see about as much reality ..." Read review

Britain Has Talent By The Bucket Full. Review with images

AdvantagesA highly entertaining talent show.

DisadvantagesSome may not agree with me !

"Weird, wacky, wonderful, conventional, traditional, we have run the gamut in the past few months and I have been there in my armchair watching as if spellbound, laughing like a hysterical hyena, woefully weeping with emotional exhaustion, overcome with admiration and pride or maybe just totally astonished at how far some will go to see themselves on stage. I do not doubt for one moment that there are a huge number of acts that offer themselves up ..." Read review

Talent in Britian is as good as anywhere

AdvantagesThere are some good acts and preformers

DisadvantagesThere aint arf some crap!

"...they appear on something like Britain's got talent. The shows will continue to go on and the debates to whether or not children should play a part or not will still be questioned. As will the acts that get through to semi finals or finals be scrutinized as to whether the right ones go on. But we should always bear in mind that before 'Britain's got talent' appeared, we still had talent coming through from one place or another. ..." Read review

..... and !......I thought saxophones were curly! ......

Advantagesnever know what to expect -The judges really make it !

Disadvantagesnone really-sometimes dissapointed by who does or doesn;t get through.

"It was welcome news when I heard that Britains Got Talent was returning for another series, It certainly creeps up on you, I was thinking ,'has it really been a year already !?' Britains Got Talent is one of those shows, where you know, as soon as the auditions begin, you shoud expect the unexpected ,think of the opposite ,and still not know what to expect! It's an anything goes sort of contest, and as far as i'm concerned the more odd or uniquely ..." Read review

The Big Debate

AdvantagesSome great new talent and amazing acts

DisadvantagesSome rather pointless acts that get further than they should!

"...== If you haven't heard of Britain's Got Talent by now then you must have been on another planet for the las couple of months! Supposed _talented_ contestants will perform their act infront of a panel of judges and an audience. The judges, love them or hate them, are Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan. If they get through they will then go on to perform in the semi-finals where the final vote is over to the great British public who will ..." Read review

Britain's Got Talent

AdvantagesEntertaining

DisadvantagesInconsistent

"...in each Saturday to watch Britain's Got Talent. I, like probably many people, found many of the acts that auditioned quite awful. The worrying thing was that these people stood on a stage and were either disillusioned about their lack of talent or were not stupid and knew that highlights afterwards focus on either the very best or the very worst of the auditionees - it was a win/win situation for them. They knew they wouldn't get through but they ..." Read review

Magnificant this year of BGT!

Advantagesgood talent, happy feelings, humour, scare factor

Disadvantagesannoying judges, rubbish acts,

"...was the best year of Britain's Got talent ever! We had many great acts, including Susan Boyle, DIVERSITY, holly, and my favourite, STAVEROS FLATLY! They absolutely sweeped the stage and audience away with there superb Irish dancing and i was surprised they didnt win. Diversity were the actually winners which i thought was a good choice. It was very close, as we were all on the edge of our seats to see who had won between Diversity and Susan Boyle, ..." Read review

It all Boyles down to this...

AdvantagesEh

DisadvantagesMeh

"...on TV with shows like Britain's Got Talent and X Factor. And let's be honest - on the whole it's rather entertaining. Nothing amuses me more than watching an asinine fool who believes he can dance tripping over himself on television. It's a laugh. The kind of laugh you may feel slightly guilty about afterwards, like watching a lady in a wheelchair rolling down a hill screaming "I CAN'T STOP!!", but a laugh none-the-less. Something you can talk to ..." Read review

Its a joke and should be taken off air

AdvantagesIt has no advantages

DisadvantagesIts terrible, and another example of the British need to laugh at the less fortunate

"Britains Got Talent is the biggest load of rubbish I've ever seen. I have to confess that the first two years of the show I've been on my holidays so this years is the first year I've actually seen any of the acts. So my views are these, basically I saw one episode which was one of the semi finals and what I saw dusturbed me far more than anything I'd seen on TV for a very long time and that includes Big Brother. The acts featured where a little ..." Read review

Britains got talent......so who do we crown???

AdvantagesGives people, who would otherwise be unknown, a platform

DisadvantagesVulnerability of contestants, more money stuffed in Cowells pockets!!

"Like many people I LOVE to watch the auditions for shows like BGT. You get the good, the bad and the downright hideous! As the weeks progress, we find ourselves at the main competition. We have our panel '''Simon Cowell''' 49 year old guy from Brighton who began his career in the mailroom of EMI publishing, and he only got this because his Dad got him the job! He now spends most of his spare time cruising around LA or jet skiing in Barbados thanks ..." Read review
