Britax Evolva 123 Plus

A few months back we had an utter disaster our £200 Maxi cosi Tobi broke just after its two year warrant ran out! I have two boys who are only eighteen months apart and my eldest is quite petite for his age, at three and a half years old his younger brother is nearly as big as him. The Britax brand is world reknowned for being the safest, best manufactured seat range. For this reason, when our daughter outgrew her baby seat, we decided to look for a Britax. We went to our local Toys R Us store where they had the Britax Evolva 123 on display in this light blue colour. As our daughter is small for her age, we decided to try her in it. She was 12 months old at the time, but small for her age - and it was a very comfortable, safe fit. We bought this seat when my son was 2 1/2 to replace a normal stage 1 seat as he could escape from it. The seat is quite big so there is lots of room for the child and accompanying coats in winter. The harness is secure and my son couldn't get his arms out of it.The seat fits well into the car although is quite low down for the child to see out of the window. There is a recline function on the seat in the stage 1 phase however I don't think it cannot be done whilst the child is in the seat or mid journey so we never used it.
