Advantages Advantages Good price, very long life, good looking, safe and comfortable, easy to install.

Disadvantages Disadvantages recline feature not usable in my car, adjustable sides dont stay in place

My son started getting too big for his rear facing car seat very early, I persisted as best I could but he went into this at about 8 months old. The car seat is designed for 9 months up to a potential of 11 years. This is based on size of course, as some 11 year olds no longer require a child car seat as they are above the recommended height. I spent a lot of time researching on the internet to find the right car seat for our requirements. I wanted something that would last a long time, my son is very tall and heavy for his age, so if I purchased something that would be suitable from 9 months ... more

Advantages Advantages Fits kids from 9mths to 12 years old. Looks Great. Comfortable.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not an isofix seat. Price (but justifiable)

As my young man is now too big for his rear facing car seat we needed to invest in new car seat. After spending some time looking around online and "testing" the seats out in our local Halfords we decided on the Britax Evolva Ultra 123 in the Geneva finish. We chose this seat for several reasons including the fact that it is designed to last from the age of nine months (or 9kg) to 11 years (or 36kg) and can be adjusted to grow with your child, it is well padded and seems very comfortable even for our 6 month old (who is very big for his age!) and lastly because it looks so very smart. The seat ... more

Advantages Advantages good head suppirt and protection, eaily cleaned, safe and secure.

Disadvantages Disadvantages its hard to think of any!

this is a great seat. it feels very solid and secure and although is fairly heavy its easy to swop between cars. i drive a mini and stuggled to find a forward facing seat that fitted the sporty rear seats and this is a great fit, it doesnt move at all. the large head rest supports a sleepy head wonderfully, even in in the more upright position, and gives lots of protection in the event of a crash something that i felt many seats, although they have side impact protection, didnt do. in order to recline the seat you have to take the baby/toddler out and undo the seat belt which can be a pain if ... more

Advantages Advantages Very comfy, lasts from 9kg to 12 years

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost (could put some people off)

After a recent car crash it was brought to our attention the need for a very safe car seat! While searching for a new seat for our daughter we searched the internet and a number of shops. She is nearly 3 and 15kg but to short for a seat which uses just a normal seat belt. My brother has this seat for his son and i liked the look of it and it looked comfy etc. After reading reviews and comparing prices we went to Halfords so that our daughter could try the seat out. Whilst there, the assistant also showed us a number of other seats. Our daughter found that the straps on one of the ones showed ... more

Advantages Advantages safe, well padded and lasts till they are 11!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages its not isofix

I found this for an absolutely bargain price of just £65 in argos- the cheapest you can get it elsewhere is £95 so truely a steal! Now this seat is one that can be used from 9kgs right up until they are 36kgs or roughly age 11! It has side impact protection with soft, deeply padded wings and an easily adjustable five-point one pull safety harness. The harness retainers make it easy to take your child in and out of the car seat and there is a useful little feature on the harness which shows you that it is tight enough. The other feature is a one-pull height-adjustable headrest which moves up ... more

Advantages Advantages lovely design, obviously safe from the sturdy feel of seat

Disadvantages Disadvantages tricky to install and heavy. Recline feature somewhat deceptive.

I bought this seat for my nearly 3 year old when I wanted to free up her standard forward facing seat 9mnth-4yr seat for my baby. The 1-2-3 is not that much larger than her old forward facing seat, however the appeal was that it could convert to a high back booster when the harness straps are removed. The harness straps will be removed and the regular seat belt will go around the sides of the seat, through the guide points. This will then be suitable up to the age of 11. I found the 1-2-3 excellent value, as it will last so long and there will be no need to get my daughter another booster seat ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to install, excellent safety features and reports

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None so far

Having had the Britax isofix duo, I was happy to go with another Britax seat, particularly given the reviews I had read, and I have not been dispappointed in this seat. It did arrive without its user guide, and it is the one model that doesn't have an online version, but there was a video guide that is simple to follow. For anyone who has used the duo seat be prepared for this to seem very wobbly when installed. This is correct! It did give me a few moments of concern, but it is designed to do this to allow for greater comfort without compromising safety. My husband can install this too, which ... more

Best car seat I have found for my SOn. After 2 month's of searching for a new car seat, I came accross this Britax Evolva. It stood out alot more better than other Car Seat's I found on the Internet. The seat is for ages 9 Month's to 11 Years old. The brilliant thing about this Seat is the Safety Strap which show's if the restraint's have been pulled tight enough to securly hold your child in. The HEadrest moves up for when the child grow's and the restraint's can be removed once grown out of them and the backrest can be removed for the use of the booster cushion. Then you use the Adult ... more

Advantages Advantages Build Quality / Stability

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost

Our 10 month old little girl has outgrown her rear-facing seat and I plumped for this due to the age/weight range covered and the quality of the build. Colour: Geneva Fitting in car: Simple instructions and DVD -though it did take a few minutes to get it right. Very solid when mastered. Features: Safety Strap system to show if the straps are too loose. Seems to work well and is not simply a gimmick. Comfort: Good all-round support. The adjustable harness and headrest provides excellent support. The adjustable width of the seat seems to be useful to accommodate her relatively small frame. Build ... more

We spent absolutely hours surfing the web, visiting stores and generally speaking to other parents as to what was potentially the best Car Seat for our little baby boy. There didn't really seem to be anything signifcantly different between all the brands and manufactures out there, other than costs. Sound Familiar?? We made the decision to buy a Britax Evolva 123 Ultra - Having had the seat in and out of the car on multiple occasions, and now having watched other families struggle to do the same, I must confess we both feel we have purchased one or, if not the market leader in such seating. It ... more
