I bought a Britax Travel System back in 1999 when I was expecting my first daughter. It was quite expensive, about £300 in total. The most important point for me was that it included a carrycot, which could be attached to the chassis wheels to make a proper pram. From 9 months to 4 years, it's a forward facing seat with a 5 point harness. Having to move the Trio regularly from one car to another I find that the threading the seat belt through the seat around the back and back out and down to the seat belt catch, while the recoiling mechanism of the seat belt is working against you, makes the whole process very tedious and prone to twisiting of the seat belt it self. The catch on the harness is extremely poorly designed, having to match to sides of the harness clip together before ...
