Advantages Advantages if you liked BS2 you MUST buy this

Disadvantages Disadvantages none if your a fan of the original, but not everyone's thing

Broken Sword 2 is everything a sequel should be and more. All that needs to be different in a sequel to a point and click adventure is the storyline (including location and, when appropriate, atmosphere) and the puzzles. This is what BS2 has done, and it has done it with style! I use the term sequel (this term is used liberally in gaming- Perfect Dark?), although perhaps a more accurate term would be follow-up games, as the plot picks up from 6 months after where Stobbart left us in BS1, and you come across some familiar faces too (I strongly suggest that you finish BS1 before playing this ... more

Advantages Advantages challenging, adventurous and extensive gameplay

    Disadvantages Disadvantages patience and difficulty

::: Introduction George Stobartt is back in a spine tickling sequel to the magnificent broken sword. To adventure; you must perform 'point-and-click' actions to guide George from the horiffic backstreets of paris to the high mounds of new mexico on an adventure to save his girlfriend nico, the world and innocent victims from the dreaded 'Kahns' captivity. ::: Requirements A memory card unit is not necessary required but HIGHLY recommended. This game can take months of patience in order to solve miserys, puzzles and complete the adventure. From personnal expereince, I must have used the memory ... more

    Advantages Advantages entertaining

    Disadvantages Disadvantages needs some patience

Broken Sword 2 is everything a sequel should be and more. All that needs to be different in a sequel to a point and click adventure is the storyline (including location and, when appropriate, atmosphere) and the puzzles. This is what BS2 has done, and it has done it with style! The Puzzles are as entertaining and gratifying as ever, only this time around they're much harder. Visually it's unaltered (except for the lush, exotic scenery), but why change a good thing. BS2 is quite simply and quite befittingly, MORE OF THE SAME GENIOUS AND ARTWORK WITH A NEW SPIN! If you've played BS1 then I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Taxes the brain

Disadvantages Disadvantages Maybe a little too taxing

I have never played the first game i only own this game through my boyfriend giving me his playstation when he upgraded to a playstation 2. I am only half way through the game and already i am stuck, i find it hard to do some of the levels as if you dont do the actions in the correct sequence you have to start again. It may be because i'm a girl maybe i cant understand the concept or maybe i played the game for too long. I will need more time to try and understand how to play this game. I just find it very difficult and it isnt one of the best games which i have played even though i dont own ... more
