Advantages: Reliable, good quality, cheap to run
Disadvantages: Memory capacity, copy handling

...printer comes with a standard Brother cartridge of 3000 prints which takes a while to use up if using as a personal printer. The replacement cartridges are not that cheap if you buy the OEM product, but the 6000 print version is naturally better value. In fact the only other difference between the two available cartridges is in the amount of toner. Disadvantages: THERE ARE FASTER LASER PRINTERS OUT THERE

Im on my second brother printer now and I really can't fault them!!! Having attached it with the supplied USB cable, Windows XP immediately recognised this and was able to use it immediately! Personally I only use it for documents, envelopes and labels but then what else is there. It is very reliable, cheap to buy and quite versatile.
