    Advantages Advantages Fun game

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not too different from original

I write this review having just scored eight, yes eight strikes in a row on Wii Sports bowling so I like to think I am somewhat of a pro. We have had this bowling game for a number of years now and I was excited when I first got it as bowling is one of my favourite games from the Wii Sports game but unfortunately I didn't think this bowling game was as good as it should be and was just a bit of an extension of the Wii Sports game and nothing too different from what has come before. The graphics are just the same as the Wii sports bowling where you utilise your Mii character to do all the ... more

Advantages Advantages Bowling for "free" in your own home

Disadvantages Disadvantages Tricky, limited features, patience required

Having enjoyed Wii sports bowling immensely, I decided to go "one up" and buy a specialist bowling game for my Wii. This is a typical case of "good in principle, bad in practise". They could have done so much more with this game but have sold themselves short on a greatr many levels. It does reveal certain dimensions to bowling I'd not previously thought of, everything from the curve (hook) on the ball to the oil distribution on the lane. Player fatigue, equipment and reputation all affect your ability and skill to hit the pins, which is fine, but there should be other areas this game could ... more

Advantages Advantages You can go bowling

Disadvantages Disadvantages Terrible Controls Won't last very long at all

When the Wii was first released, it came bundled with Wii Sports. Many people didn't expect much from this freebie, but it surprised many with the addictiveness it possessed. Some of its game modes such as boxing remain the best examples of their genre on the Wii to this day. Enter Brunswick Pro Bowling. To become more entertaining than Wii Sports bowling, taking into account the fact that Brunswick Pro Bowling is just about bowling alone, was always going to be a challenge. The question is, have Crave managed it? Graphics As soon as you start to play Brunswick Pro Bowling you will realise how ... more

Advantages Advantages Fun with family members

    Disadvantages Disadvantages hard to master

The idea behind this game is to bowl just like in the lanes at the local bowling alley however it is more like playing skittles in the local street alley. The controls are poor to say the least how ever the game is not all bad after u get used to the controls it can be a fun game to play with family members The graphics are nice and the game runs smooth and this could be one of them games where with a few careful tweaks by the designers could turn out to be one of the classics series that start off being average/poor and grow as the series continues. I spent many a good time on this game with ... more
