I believe it helped both my children sit independently from an earlier age than perhaps they would have without it. Its wipe clean and soft to touch and babies are unable to get out so they are perfectly safe. Both my children stopped using these by 5/6 months as they could sit unaided so they were only used for a matter of months. ...

I bought this bumbo chair in pink, second hand off ebay after reading great reviews about it, unfortunatly when I recieved it it had a yellow stain all around the inside rim which I couldn't wipe off. After a good wipe with some anti-bac cleaner I decided to try it out putting it down to wear and tear and put my 15 week daughter in it . We were both a little unimpressed, not sure who was more so and a few minutes later I realised what and where the stain had maybe come from she had filled her nappy and it had found an air gap and exploded all the way up her back. Not sure if I will try again or attempt a new one. ...
