...got a whiff (smell) of burberry was when i was in Leeds market and i noticed that it was being sold for a cheap price so i decided to smell it first and then buy it.
Smell
The smell is not to strong but not too weak neither, it has a kind of citrus fragrance, the smell is not overpowering and has quite a refreshing flavor to it.
No wonder it smells so nice because there are a lot of refreshing ingredients on the back.....

ivy leaves--- sandalwood-----oak moss
Base notes:
amber---honey---musk
Packaging
The packaging is quite plain considering Burberrys designs in the past, the main colours for the box are blue and a light brown, the colours both work well together. You can see slightly see how much of spray is left in the cannister because frosted glass has been used, overall the colours on the spray are plain and have no really special ...

Advantages: A Clean crisp, citrussy smell Disadvantages: can smell a bit too sharp
...the most summery of the Burberry Eau De Toilette range. It would be good for summertime with its clean crisp scent, being quite light, rather than the heavier vanilla and musky type fragrances such as Burberry Brit and the new Burberry London, which are more suited to the winter, or going out on a night time. I would certainly wear weekend at work as it is light enough to smell clean, and not so strong that you go to work smelling like you're on ... ...as much as Burberry, or Burberry Brit, I think that is partly my preference towards musky, vanilla like fragrances rather than sharp citrussy ones. I think the smell one first notices when smelling Burberry weekend is its citrus sharpness, there is a woody, almost mossy undertone, however this is quite subtle, it is the olfactory assault of the citrus notes which grab your attention.
I find women seem to like this Eau de Toilette, which at the end ...

...do not come in the Burberry box, rather just a plain white one.
In writing this review i had written the part above explaining the difference between tester and a regular product, then given the review for the regular product, as aside from the outside box they are identical products. However apparently this is not allowed by Ciao, so i'm writing a new review. Burberry weekend is a citrussy, sharp fragrence, better suited to the summertime.
It ... ...complementing the range of other Burberry eau de toilettes, many of which are of the woodier, muskier, heavier variety.
Its subtle enough to wear at work without smelling like you're on the pull, although I find it a little sharp smelling.
Overall a nice fragrence, but I can't say its one of my favourites. reasonabley long lasting and reasonabley priced burberry weekend comes in at a pleasant average, not the nicest eau de toilette, but by no means ...
