Advantages: Stores bright & good layout, friendly staff, wide choice Disadvantages: Sometimes it's worth waiting for the sales!
::::INTRODUCTION::::
Burton is part of the Arcadia Retail group, which has many fashion retailers such as TopMan and the rest are women's like TopShop, Dorethy Perkins, Wallis, Evans and Miss Selfridge.

Advantages: A great range of products Disadvantages: none
Burton’s have come through many rough patches just recently and proved that they are one of the best contenders for Men’s fashion both on the high street and On-line.
They have started many new lines, which in my opinion offer a much superior quality to some of the other leading high street names around. Burton’s staff are also very friendly and helpful, not to mention that always eager to find the best product for you.
Ok, as ... ...ranges available on a budget not to mention for the higher prices. They have all sorts to choose from, suits, casual, formal, sports and many different accessories for all your fashion needs. They have also started a vast range of initiatives that have allowed smaller, unknown designers to develop products and be sold nation-wide through all Burton’s stores. I have picked up several descent outfits that would have cost much more from other ...

I would just like to write a review on the Burtons men's clothing shop, one that I visit quite regularly for reasons that we shall soon see. My local shop is based on two floors, with the grouond floor holding casual wear (shirts and t-shrts; jeans or more casual trousers; underwear and so on), whereas the first floor sells shoes and suits (but when I say shoes I mean everything from flip flops to proper suit types shoes). In my own opinion, the ... ...goods is not very overcrowded. Yes, the shop is not a very big one but it helps in having two floors in which to sell things. In terms of the range and variety of clothes that they sell, there are things to cater for all tastes from the more outrageous or flambouyant items that are all the rage and fashino today to the more plain and simple things for those people who may just wish to have something to wear around the house. The prices of things ...

Advantages: Good selections Disadvantages: Not well laid out in shop
Since fashion became something to be more conscious about for me, (few years ago) I thought it would be a good idea to make sure I knew what the different Men’s stores around my local area were like. Burtons is quite an established store, for men only, (although my mum does go in when she's looking for my Christmas presents etc) and does offer quite a good range in the latest fashions. It has a good selection of Jeans, both its own brand, and ... ...and jumpers, all quite suitable for the young men of today to wear out on the streets.
Burtons also has a good selection of clothes for going out in. The selection of shirts is good, quite a wide range from the near-Hawaiian shirts for the summer, to the long sleeved cotton shirts. The smart trousers aren't of the best quality, but there is a good range, including plenty of styles and colours.
The suits are excellent. As well as their own branded ...

Advantages: Good Range, Good Quality, Good Prices Disadvantages: None
A great shop for men. Great value, great quality, good range, friendly staff. That just about sums up my opinion of the Burtons Mensware shops in the UK. Now I've got to try and pad this thing out to make 90 words.
Joking aside I have honestly given my opinion in the first sentence, but what leads me to this conclusion? I have shopped at Burtons both man and boy and have always been very pleased with their products. On the rare ocassion I have had ... ...help and replaced or refunded without question. I have always found what I have been looking for and paid a reasonable price.
Sale time is always good too and there are some excellent bargains to be found.
I have also used their hire facility to hire out dinner suits and found this service to also be excellent in both cost and quality.
Well done Burtons. I'll keep on shopping there. ...

Advantages: Large range of cheap smart clothes Disadvantages: none
Burtons is just the sort of place I always seem to end up in when I go shopping. Its not that I really buy that much stuff there (I'm a bit scruffy most of the time), but just being there is something you have to do.
The shop has a very classy image when compared to others in the high street. They sell some real quality clothes at some very reasonable prices. If I was to be buying anything at all smart, I'd always head straight for Burtons. I bought ... ...helpful. After just a second of looking through their stock, a woman approached me to see if she could help. I obviously did need a bit of help because I hadn't needed a nice suit before. She took all the necessary measurements and I was actually out of the shop again fairly quickly. I also bought some shirts, ties and a pair of shoes that day. She didn't try and push me in to buying all this stuff like some places do. She gave her honest opinions ...

Advantages: Friendly staff in spacious store who provide good quality affordable clothes Disadvantages: efforts to make me take out a store card every time i visit
The local Burton's menswear shop and all of the others i have visited in the country have been pretty much the same: good, affordable menswear in a large store, with good customer services.
It is true that they do tend to push for you to open a store card account, this is probably due to the profits they make when you don't pay it off! However, this is not a problem for me as the clothing i do buy from Burtons is generally cheap yet good quality, ... ...i have been in) are not as cramped as many other similar shops are. This is beneficial as i am not a fan of shopping and nothing upsets me more than feeling hemmed in when i try to buy something. The staff are helpful, and genuinely seem to want to please the customer, something of a rarity on the high street. An example of this was when i tried to describe a shirt i had seen in a Burtons shop in the south to one of the assistants in my local shop ...

Advantages: new stores Disadvantages: upstairs from dorothy perkins
I always saw Burton menswear as an old man's store. However recently all, or nearly all of their stores have been refurbished, and the clothes updated.
Burton's image has dramatically changed over the years, and this is one of the reasons why nearly all of my clothes come from here.
~~~BURTON~~~
Burton is part of the Arcadia group, along with Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and Topman, Miss Selfridge, Wallis and Evans.
~~~WHAT DO THEY SELL?~~~
Burton ... ...havnt had any problems with Burton clothes yet though, and I have been shopping here for over a year.
~~~PRICES~~~
The prices here are great! They are a lot cheaper, and I mean a lot, than Next and Gap.
They also have some really good offers, that are changed regularly, such as two pairs of shoes from a certain type, for only £55. That is excellent considering a pair of shoes is around £40.
Even £40 for a pair is really good value!
My dad bought ...
Advantages: Excellent value for money, good quality, large range. Disadvantages: N/A
I use Burtons regularly for my clothes shopping. I have been shopping there for many years. I shop there primarily because it is one of the only decent shops where I live. They are a well-known brand name in menswear and offer high quality clothes at affordable prices.
They sell three categories of clothes: 1) Smart (shirts, ties and trousers)
2) Casual (Sweat shirts, jeans, combat trousers)
3) Sportswear (T-shirts, shorts, tracksuit tops)
All ... ...label exclusive to burtons. I particularly like the Johnathon Adams range of shirts. They cost around £30 - 40 and look really good and are very durable.
Burtons offer a store card that entitles you to 10% off your shopping there (subject to status), and if you are a student (like myself) you get a further 10% with an NUS card. Thats a whopping 20% off if you are a student.
I would recommend all men, regardless of taste to take a look inside a ...
Advantages: some bargains Disadvantages: could have more in range
This is a excellent men’s store. I have bought my Dad a really nice woolly jumper for Christmas from here and it was cheap for £18. It’s really nice and thick and will come in handy in the winter months. Being a female I never really go in Burton’s but it’s a good male shop and has some really good trendy stuff. You can buy all your shirts, ties, trousers and shoes from here. The prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of items. ... ...or husband a gift then this is the shop to come to. In summer my brother bought some male sandals and they have lasted even though he’s wore them a lot and there cheap at £22, a bargain I would say.
The store is well organised and the personnel are so happy to help, and if you want to return an item keep your receipt they are fussy about that, so be warned no receipt no return. Overall a very good store, a perfect store for males who are looking ...
Burtons Mens wear has been around for years and has always been an old favourite of mine. Burtons is a men only store women are allowed in but doesnt cater for their needs. Burtons covers all types of clothes from suits to casualwear to sports wear. Burtons is very up with the fashins and stocks its own range of going out clothes which are perticualry tasteful.
My last purchase at burtons was a Jonathan Adams suit, a very high quality suit. When ... ...range of modern suits so ideal for the younger office worker that likes to have the latest cuts, Included with the suit I got a free shirt and tie set and have to say all sets were very well co-ordinated not the usuall mismach you get in C&A and other stores. Burtons must have a high quality team of merchandisers to get the quality of clothes they have, as well as there allwasy ...
Advantages: lots of space Disadvantages: no disadvantages
The Burtons store that I will be writing about is the Weston-Super-Mare store I think Burtons is a very classy shop and it sells very classy clothes.
The first thing I am going to write about is the size and layout of the store, as you can expect from most mens fashion shops the layout is a very large floor space and it is also a two story building which means they can spread there stock out over the two storys they have also arranged the shelfs ... ...in and there is also very good wheelchair access because there is a very large doorway and very large spaces between the shelfs.
The next thing that I am going to write about is the range of clothes that they sell in the store, I think that they do sell a very good range of clothes from underwear to trousers, tops and belts.
Next I would like to write about the prices, the prices of the clothes in Burtons are quite high but they are designer make ...
Advantages: Really good prices, range, service Disadvantages: None
Go into Burtons. Don't bother looking anywhere else, you would just be wasting your time. Every time I've needed any clothes I always end up getting them from Burtons, despite trawling the highstreet for ages.
There's a huge range for young and old. Regular sales and all in all a brilliant shop.
The prices are good, especilly with 10% NUS discount.
The staff are polite and efficient.
Taking things back is easy too, I once bought a shirt, wore ... ...back. There were no quarrels and I immediately bought some trousers with the refund.
The only thing I would say agains the stores is that their internet service is aweful. Steer clear of Zoom and don't try the Arcadia web site.
I would recomend Burtons to anyone. ...
