I had liked the Burt's Bees Almond Milk and Beeswax hand cream on every point except for the smell, and I was keen to try this one, which was another of the hand creams I got in a small travel size. The hand salve comes in a yellow tub featuring a picture of a bearded man - Burt I assume. I was quite surprised when I saw the full sized tub of this in Boots, as it is huge - really wide, and doesn't look particularly convenient to be carrying around ... ...A 85g tub of Burt's Bees Hand Salve costs £8 and can be purchased from Boots. I do think this is quite pricy, although my small tub has lasted quite some time, so I imagine the full sized one would last well.
Overall, I do like this product. It's got a lovely smell and leaves my hands feeling soft, supple and moisturised. Obviously the most negative thing about it is the speed (or lack of speed) at which it absorbs. I find this makes it quite inconvenient ...

Burt’s Bees Hand Salve: Another one of my little Burt’s Bees product this hand salve is one my favourites. It comes in a cute 0.30oz tin as it’s a trial size; the full size tin is 0.60oz. The tin is silver in colour and has a yellow label featuring Burt himself. The tin is easy enough to open, it is so easy in fact that I was worried it would come open in my bag but this has never happened in several months of use. The smell is so lovely. It has ... ...it smells so great; it contains almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, Vitamin E, comfrey root extract, rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus! I have the tin in front of me and I just can’t stop sniffing it. The texture is waxy but soft enough to be able to apply easily. As soon as it meets the warmth of your skin it melts allowing it to soak into the skin reasonably quickly. Having said that it does make your hands feel a little greasy for about 10 minutes ...

Advantages: Lovely smell, Super nourishing, cute tin, fab company Disadvantages: zero!
Burt's Bees hand salve is a god-send in a little tin. Not only can it be used for hands that need a little bit of TLC, but for all other areas of dry skin you may have. The product is packed full of natural and high quality ingredients including almond oil, olive oil, beeswax and vitamin E Oil. All which help nourish and moisturise damaged or cracked skin. You can really feel it sinking into to any problem areas. I even use it as a lip balm when ... ...instantly. It has the same consistency as solid perfume which is great as it lasts for ages. The smell is lovely and natural, you can definitely smell the rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus oils coming through. I received my hand salve in a travel kit which contained several products. You can buy it on it's own for around £6 which is very reasonable for a multi-purpose product that you will wander how you ever lived without it! ...

Advantages: Neat size for taking anywhere Disadvantages: Smell not to everyone's liking
Burt's Bees Hand Salve. 8.5g mini pocket / travel size.
Burt's Bees strive to create 100% all natural products. A large majority of their range is 100% all natural. This hand balm is 99.05% How many products on the market can make that claim?
This item was created to sooth dry, chapped hands and it does just that.
The handy tin is quite flat so wil pop easily into handbag or purse. The balm-like salve melts instantly upon touch so it's easy to ... ...make the hands feel greasy at all. I use it on both hands and feet with great results of smoother, better feeling skin which lasts quite a while (probably due to the beeswax creating a bit of a barrier).
The smell is quite different. I think it's a bit like Marmite in respect of you either love it or hate it. Upon first whiff it is a little strong, however it does fade. It smells medicinal, sort of minty like old fashioned cough-drops. Overall a ...
