Advantages: Compatability, style, features! Disadvantages: There are none!

**Situation**
It was year 2004 and my TV had broken. It was a 2nd hand one that had been given to me by a friend until the day I had enough money to buy a new one. I loved it and felt heart broken when I realised that the tube had bust! I'd had a very strong bond with my TV; it had helped my in times of need! What was I to do with no telly! (Christ, I wonder what they did before the darn things ... ...so was happy with the Bush brand that was sitting in front of me. Having used and bought 'Bush' products several times before I knew I was gaining good quality for a budget price. So here I was handing over a mere £198.99 for a 28" Widescreen TV to the Tesco cashier. Advantages: Competitively priced widescreen TV Disadvantages: Going, Going, GONE
MODEL: BUSH WS 6674 Widescreen Remote Control TV With Teletext.
I paid only £199 for my 28" widescreen television set a few months ago, from Aldi in Haverhill. I have a friend who lives there, and he had spotted these in store. By the time we got there, there was only four left. I bought three - one for myself and two others for friends who later reimbursed me. What can I say? I have seen comparable looking sets on sale in Dixons on the High Street ... ...I did find the manual a little bit difficult to understand at first, but managed to decipher it in the end! The set has different screen size selections, so you don't have to chop heads off etc if viewing something that's not in widescreen format. Quality stereo sound & smart looking unit which looks a lot more expensive than it was. It also seems a lot bigger than 28". I've seen other 28" sets around where the screen just seems smaller than mine ...

Advantages: Low, competitive price, Good design Disadvantages: no major ones, parts of the instruciton manual could be better
...the catalogue and ordered the Bush WS6671 with a 28" screen. I made this decision on the following criteria:
(a) It was in the catalogue so I could pay interest free over 40 weeks and have delivered for free
(b) At £350 it was one of the cheapest, moreso once I knock my commission off.
(c) It came in black
I can hear the technical amongst you groaning. They may not be the best of reasons but I'm certainly pleased with the television. So with ... ...probably a mixture of the Bush being extremely good value and the flash models being slightly overpriced making it seem like a huge gulf. Whilst this model may not have the ultra sophisticated picture features of other televisions on the market I am giving it 5/5 as a reflection of the product and its price, I think this is an all round good package.
Whether buying on a budget or not it is certainly a television to consider. It comes with a one ...

...good offers. They do a Bush conventional 28" TV for £199! I'm sorry, but that is fantastic value. However, the one I wanted was the £299 widescreen version. And that's the one I got. It's big, black, and has a nice design. Considering the next cheapest widescreen was almost double the price, where was the catch?
Well, I still haven't found it. The TV doesn't come with a stand, but as they do the same TV with a stand for more money (£369 I think,) ... ...Sony, I haven't noticed the Bush to be bad. I'd say it had very good picture quality
The Bush TV does everything that I want out of a TV - namely great picture, good sound, and is big enough to play 4-up playstation 2 games on.
I really recommend this to anyone who wants a decent, well specced family/living room telly. ...

Advantages: price Disadvantages: expensive to repair
Bush televisions, from portables to widescreens. I will talk about the widescreen but this report really relates to all of them!
Why are they so cheap? Because they are made all over and have different components from model to model. The bulk are made in cheap labour countries such as China and the like. This allows them to be sold at bargain basement prices.
Advantages: 1/ most people can afford a bush tv. 2/ bush tv's can be considered as a disposable ... ...bush tv's unless they are sent away to get specifically callibrated (at a cost)
5/ They deteriorate in picture and sound quality faster than many other makes Overall view: Buy for use as a bedroom or kids tv, but not to use as main tv. Ideal as a cheap second tv. ...

...power on/off button and the shiny silver BUSH logo.
Well what can I say, it was a great deal and personally I still find it better looking than most other widescreen TV’s. I can see my Bush television sticking with me for a long time.

Advantages: Cheap, digital compatible, no need for external boxes Disadvantages: Takes a while to work out the remote unless you have a child handy in which case they have it mastered in five minutes

I purchased this television because all the DVDs that I had only functioned properly on Widescreen. I have to admit that it tool me a good hour to read through the manual and yes, I am glad that I had it installed rather than trying to work out which way to open the box myself.
There are many different settings which, if you are not careful can weigh you down. The picture can be stretched in all sorts of directions and just about every possible ... ...found, and still have not yet cured is I have been unable to run the tv through the HIFI other than when I am playing a video or DVD. There appears to be instructions in the manual for this but the necessary sockets are not there. Perhaps the manual caters for more than one model. Nevertheless the sound quality and picture quality are very good.
