Disadvantages I wipe the floor with everyone!

I asked my parents to buy me Buzz & Singstar 80s for Christmas, but they got me a digital camera instead (no complaints!) so I went and bought them for myself. We had my fiancé's mother staying with us at the time so we all had a drink and played Buzz. She is a bit of a technophobe so it took some explaining to her, but we were soon on the edge of our seats. The game comes on its own or with the buzzers, so if you haven't got them already, make sure you get the pack with the buzzers. I have recently been finding myself pretty much bored and fed up with the ammount of garbage available for the PC and the PS2. All the games are of the same ilk and playing one is pretty much the same as playing the other. So you can imagine my excitement when my son bought BUZZ. Something different most definately, fun.......again most definately. Well we all like to think of ourselves as smarty pants especially when it comes to music. for some strange the reason the competitivness is far more important when it comes to answering questions on music. Do you sit watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire screaming the answers at your TV and wish you could appear on a TV game show yourself? Well, now you can - sort of! In A Nutshell Basically Buzz! The Big Quiz is exactly as it implies. The first thing that attracted me to this game whilst idly wasting away my lunch hour in town was the huge red buzzers the games come with. These are great fun are allow the feeling of actually being part of a game show. I rushed back to the office and mailed everyone I new about the fab game and by the end of the day we had a copy. I did actually have to take back the original game as the buzzers were not working. If all 4 buzzers do not light up when you plug them into the PS2, there is definitely something wrong and you must rush back to the shop before it close to get a new copy. The best ... more

We got Buzz with a PS2 bundle for Xmas and haven't stopped playing it since. The game alone in the shops retails for around £39.99 as its new. It comes complete with four "buzzers" which have a big red "buzz" button at the top and then blue, orange, green and yellow buttons underneath as the questions are colour coded. When the game starts the intro is very good, the graphics are excellent. Well this game added some much fun over xmas with family and friends. This is a real good game for anyone aged between 8 and 40. This game involves around 8 different rounds all fun. Rounds included steal points from other player, the bomb which means you have to answer the question as quick as you can without the bomb going of on you. The presenter has some really funny line that take the micky out of you especially if you get it wrong things like "player 2 look to your left now look to your right and spot the loser" or "the eagle is a patient bird". THE SUMMARY What can I say about Buzz well it is a quiz game with bite. This is an installment of the popular PS2 quiz series that concertrates mainly on testing your general knowledge and your speed of reactions. This playstation 2 games is for ages 8+. There are 4 buzzers which plug into the front of the playstation. You can also play this game on your own, but is much better and more fun with others. At the start of the game you have to select who you want to be and your outfit that you are going to wear. You then get taken to the green room and decide what questions you want to answer, you can decide on all types of music or one specific type. I love 'Buzz' as it appeals to my competitive nature. Although the game is embellished with quirky characterisation of contestants and buzzer noises, the undeniably real purpose of the game is a simple old-fashioned, tried and tested formula, of who has the best knowledge of music and who is the quickest on the buzzer. The duration of the game is predetermined by the players at the beginning ; the longer the game the more rounds there are to compete in.
