Advantages: Price, Nutritional Profile Disadvantages: Taste, Texture, Lack of Protein Content
I ordered a box of these a while ago and while they are good value, (you can pick up 24 bars for about £25) i found the taste and texture to be awful. The texture is awful, not crunchy but not gooey and it makes the bar extremely dificult to finish, it takes an absolute age to chew these bars. The taste is very bland and not really helped by the chocolate on the bottom. The nutritional profile and ingredients of the bar are better than many others ... ...isolate which is a poor form of protein. It also doesn't contain any HFCS or bad oils. Ultimately, the value and nutrional profile are good but i could not finish more than a few bars since the taste and texture made them much too difficult to chew and "enjoy". There are other alternatives, and it is easy enough to make your own protein bars if you google recipes which contain better ingredients and will be cheaper. ...
