**Are they nice**
If you like Cadbury chocolate without there being any wafer or other ingredients to take the chocolate experience away, then most certainly, you will enjoy these.
The size of them makes them just right for a snack, and because they are small, it is possible to convince yourself that you haven't in fact eaten any chocolate. So…for a quick ... ...these. Not only are they made of tasty chocolate, they love the fact that it's a frog. The whole marketing concept is geared towards children.
Then, also in Freddo's favour is the price. There are not many chocolates or snacks which cost as little as 10p. This makes them great if you have lots of children round, and they are all wanting chocolate. There is no need to spend 30p or 40p on each chocolate bar. Give them a Freddo, and it's usually a ...

Advantages: Cheap Cadbury's chocolate Disadvantages: aimed at children
Now then if chocolate companies are going to be so as unscrupulous as to specially target children then there are two things they need to do. Firstly they need to give it some sort of psuedo “health benefit” or make it very small so the product seems less unhealthy. Secondly they need to make it cheap. There are two reasons for cheapness: Number One so that children can afford to buy said treat with their pocket money and Number Two so that when ... ...they can hold up product and their mothers will give in because it is so cheap. Cadbury’s has such a product in the form of the Freddo.
The Freddo bar is a small frog shaped lump of chocolate that costs 10p. It comes in two varieties the original all chocolate Freddo and the Freddo with Caramel. I was lucky enough to receive a free Freddo Caramel (another bonus of them being so cheap is that people will give them away for free to try and persuade ...

...front of the wrapper is Cadbury land and underneath a big green frog with clothes on. On his (I think it's a he, well I've decided it is anyway) is 'freddo daily milk'. Near the bottom is the price in big red letters, 10p. On the back is the best before date, address, barcode, ingredients, nutritional information and information about Cadbury land.

Ingredients: Milk, Sugar, Coca mass, Cocoa butter, Vegetable fat, Emulsifiers ... ...you can taste the distinct Cadbury taste. It is really nice and will instantly make your cravings disappear. If you take average bites then it will probably last around three or four bites which is fine enough for a snack. If however this is the only chocolate you have you can nibble it and make it last longer.
There is another product in this range, this being the Taz or Tazo, it's something like that! This is exactly the same as the Freddo except ...

Advantages: Proper Cadbury milk chocolate, cheap, fewer calories than a full size bar Disadvantages: You may be left wanting more
...shaped bar made of proper Cadbury chocolate, about half the size of a standard Dairy Milk bar. There is a lot of competition between different chocolate manufacturers, but my favourite normal brand chocolate is Cadburys. I find Galaxy isn’t ‘chocolately’ enough (I’m not a white chocolate fan) and I don’t find Nestle chocolate is as smooth. I remember spending my pocket money on Freddos in the local post office as a kid. The packaging is Cadbury purple ... ...chocoholics like me! A normal Cadbury Dairy Milk bar is 260 calories, so after eating 2 Freddos and you have still eaten 70 fewer calories. I find that 2 Freddos costing is a great substitute for a Cadbury bar as it costs 50p in many shops and up to 65p in some places. Freddos are particularly great for when you are out shopping, or in a train station, on your lunch break or just having a walk, and you just want a small amount of chocolate to keep ...

Advantages: little bit of chocolate Disadvantages: none
Freddos have been around for a good few years. The 2 kinds you get in the Uk are Milk Chocolate and Caramel. I remeber the Caramel ones used to be called Taz bars and they had a picture of the cartoon character taz on the front. You can get the different kinds of these on certain websites, 1 is www.cybercandy.co.uk So what is a Freddo Bar? Freddos are manufactured by Cadbury's and the chocolate is Dairy Milk chocolate. It is a small piece of Chocolate ... ...1 side and raised a bit on the other with the chocolate sculpted out for eyes and such. The dairy Milk Milk Chocolate one is just a plain piece of chocolate, but the Caramel one has got quite runny caramel through the middle of it. It is just the right amount of Caramel for the amount of chocolate. I usually eat these after they have been in the fridge, as it makes the chocolate crispy and although the Caramel is quite runny, this does thicken it ...

...“Freddo” in front of a Cadbury purple background. The price on the bottom (now 15p though I'm sure many can remember them being 10p) and the amount of calories in the bar (more about that later), the back contains the barcode and the nutritional information.
Coming in at about 2 inches long the frog is rather short and shaped like the frog from the wrapper, I think their may be different designs and this one is quite a cheeky one sticking it's tongue ... ...Freddo is tiny it's the Cadbury chocolate that we know and like, it's pretty much a plan milk chocolate bar (Cadbury of course do do a Milk Chocolate bar) so it's only the cutesy design that makes it appealing and the price. The bar is a snick size chocolate bar so it's great for kids, but as it's also Cadbury's I guess us adults can convince ourselves it's fine to eat them as well, and, well, it is fine.
Although the price does seem to have shot ...

You know how it is. You have a notion for something sweet. Something chocolatey. Something caramelly. And being a tight-fisted sweaty sock, something cheap. Step (or should that be hop) forward FREDDO! In case you don't know, Freddo is a frog. But fear not dear reader, I haven't gone all French and developed a penchant for munching on amphibians' legs, Freddo is made by Cadburys. What does that tell you? ...Frogs became part of the Cadbury product range in 1967, when MacRobertson's were sold to Cadbury. Freddo Frogs are primarily available as solid milk fingers (a caramel version is also available) for 15p - marked on the wrapper. They used to be 10p! Each chocolate is shaped like a cartoon frog, standing up and dressed, with a 'finger' to his mouth (why?). Also, Freddo has 4 'fingers' on the packet, and 5 on the actual chocolate bar. ...it should be with all Cadbury chocolate and it is so enjoyable to suck rather than chew.
It really takes less than a minute to eat all of Freddo up. The tasty chocolate has gone before you know it and you are left with an overpowering chocolate taste in the mouth. I could eat more than one of these little gems but it surely defeats the object of buying a small treat if you buy lots of small treats.
Unfortunately Freddo is not suitable for people ... ...nuts. It also contains wheat and Soya. In total Freddo weights in at 12 grams. He has 3.5 grams of fat if you eat all of him. I personally could eat more than one of him.
I would say these treats are perfect for most people (excluding those with allergies) as they are a nice little treat to give to your taste buds and it would ruin your bank balance in the slightest. Considering this is a tasty little bit of chocolate, you would of expected it to ...

I am quite partial to a cadburys freddo now and again. Even though every time i have one i promise myself not to buyself one again as i become addicted, i always find myself going back for more.
Freddo's come in two varietys, original- the plain milk chocolate one, and Freddo Caramel- milk chocolate filled with delicious flowing caramel. The one i am reviewing however is the plain chocolate one.

...Freddo is a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk in the shape of a frog. Yes, a frog. Freddo the frog, to be precise. Freddo is part of the Cadbury Land range, which is aimed at young kids and also includes favourites such as the fudge, curly wurly and chocolate buttons. ...over. But I was satisfied. Cadbury had fulfilled my fantasy, one that wasn't as breath taking as the "Ripple" by Mars Confectionery, but much more novel and succulent. I licked my lips, it was a fix in my addiction. In contrast to many other chocolate bars, its very small in size- say 2 Celebration sweets together, crushed by the hand.
