It really annoys me when schools tell parents what to give their children in their lunch boxes. My younger siblings are both in Primary school and their classes often receive letters informing parents to put 'healthy' food into the lunch boxes. But come on, we all know what school dinners are like - isn't this a little hypocritical? As a child I would always have what I wanted, as long as it was balanced. I mean what child wants to live off of nuts and seeds?! So my Mam does not take any notice of these letters, rightly so, and my brother and sister can within reason have what they want ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent texture, tastes okay, purple pack is nice

Disadvantages Disadvantages Meagre portions, nothing all that special

There is a house in New Orleans... whoops, sorry, wrong Animals. Ahem. I'll come in again. Right then... in my continuing quest to make absolutely everyone on this site go, "Ooh, I remember those from years ago!" I'm looking this time around at Cadbury Animals - actually branded on the pack as "Cadbury mini Animals", although the word "mini" is in appropriately mini print! I bought an eight-bag multipack in Poundland (for a pound, yes) which is a useful saving over the £1.30 or so that supermarkets tend to charge. Being a Cadbury product, it is of course a legal requirement for the bag to be ... more

Advantages Advantages Taste great, good idea, quality biscuit/cookie

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing really

I bought a packet of these to use at my son's 6th birthday party the other week. Inside of emptying them out into dishes and letting 10 hyperactive kids loose on some chocolate covered cookie biscuits, we gave them out as prizes for winning games, telling them they had to keep them and take them home. Considerate, huh? I bought a decent sized bag. You get 8 mini bags of these animal shaped choc biscuits that are more like cookies really. Each bag has an animal theme to it, such as Gemma Elephant, Mojo Monkey, Leroy Lion, Tiff Tiger and Zippo Hippo (obviously had trouble with names for Hippos ... more

    Advantages Advantages Gorgeous!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not enough in a mini pack for me!

I used to love these Cadbury animal biscuits as a child, and when I saw them off offer in asda last week, I just couldn't resist! I got a pack of these biscuits for £1 instead of the usual £1.35, and inside was 8 mini packs of animal biscuits. You get around 8-10 biscuits in each mini pack, which would be enough for a child, but I always want about 3 packs at once! The packaging is purple with pictures of animals on the front, as shown in the picture above. These biscuits are like digestives, with a layer of Cadbury chocolate on the top. The biscuit is nice and light, and easy to eat. The ... more

You can buy these in a 150g box, which is on offer at Asda just now for 62p. There is also a Christmas version of them with Christmas characters at the same price just now. I am buying a few of the more so due to the price of them. These are made by Cadbury's and the Chocolate tastes yummy on them. The packaging is alright. The Biscuits are in a bag which is inside a colourful box. The box is slightly rectangular and is a medium purple colour. There is a few cartoon looking Animals on the front as well, and it all looks pretty and nice. So what are they? They are little Biscuits that are half ... more
