Advantages Advantages Chocolate and more chocolate

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive and too sweet

Because most of my work shifts have been finishing at 11 pm recently I don’t feel like going to bed straight away when I get home and haven’t been feeling sleepy when I do. Too many cups of tea and coffee I told myself and decided that some drinking chocolate might help. As we had just got some Cadburys Toppers in the shop and they looked interesting I thought I’d give three of the flavours a try. Toppers come in double sachets for 48p each. I thought that there were 2 separate drinks in each sachet like Cadburys Options when I bought them but no, one sachet contains the ... more

Advantages Advantages Taste's gorgeous, smooth and creamy with a good variety of toppings so you won't get bored.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Has lots of calories and it's too expensive!

Okay, so it's squirrel sh*t and hasn't got anything to do with Cadbury's Topper's at all. I just couldn't think of a good title for this review so I thought I'd treat you all to yet another bad joke, lol!! So on with the review. ~~ WHAT FLAVOURS CAN I TRY ~~ Cadbury’s toppers come in 4 flavours that I know of and here is a list: Cadbury’s Crunchie – a sachet of hot chocolate and a sachet of gorgeous crunchy pieces of cinder toffee covered in chocolate! This is my absolute favourite and could drink this by the bucket load but unfortunately that would be very expensive not only ... more

    Advantages Advantages Quick and easy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be very hot.

My daughter spotted these in Tesco some time ago and I thought it high time I write an Op on these delicious hot chocolate drinks. What are they I hear you ask? Cadbury`s Toppers I scream in reply. Cadbury`s are always first in line to bring us new and innovative drinks. This is no exception. The one I am writing about today is the Cadbury`s Topper with Crunchie pieces. Packaged in two sections with perforations down the middle, this half Purple/half Yellow pack really does give you the Cadbury`s theme. Cadbury`s in the top left hand corner with Crunchie in the top right hand corner. Toppers ... more

    Advantages Advantages God its delicious

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Makes you fat

This is one of the best ever Cadburys drink I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It’s called simply Velvet. The title is not an understatement. It is described as a Luxury Hot Chocolate Drink. The ultimate hot chocolate drink. They are not kidding. It comes in a 224g purple box. You get a shock when you first open it, as instead of the usual powder, there are pure chocolate flakes. I must admit for each spoonful that goes in the mug half of one goes in my mouth. How many hot chocolates can you say that about? The directions to make the perfectly ultimate drink are as follows. First nearly ... more

Advantages Advantages Marshmallows melt in your mouth, chocolatey

Disadvantages Disadvantages Was disappointed with the froth

Wandering round Tesco tonight, I took a notion for some hot chocolate. Popped up to the Tea and Coffee aisle, and was about to pick up a pack of low-calorie “options” when this Cadburys Chocolate Toppers started calling my name from the top shelves. I was torn between the three flavours: Marshmallow, Cadburys Crunchie or Cadburys Wispa. Decided on the Marshmallow flavour. Price – 37 pence for one pack, which contains 2 sachets – 35g of the Chocolatey Mix and 7g of Marshmallows. I must admit, I felt a bit cheated here as I thought that you were getting 2 drinks and each sachet contained both ... more

Advantages Advantages Taste delicious, marsmallows are lovely

Disadvantages Disadvantages Litlle bit expensive and quite a few calories

As the dark, cold nights draw in on us, we feel less like going out and catching cold or flu, and more like staying inside, where our houses are warm, and where the sofa is very comfortable. I don’t know about the rest of you, but the very essence of autumn and winter for me, is sitting inside, looking at the cold outside, and drinking hot chocolate, which keeps your hands warm (well, that and snowball fights!). I’ve drank any different types of hot chocolate, and warm drinks, like ovaltine, but had never come across these before. My mum was the sweet, kind person who brought me one of these ... more
