Call of duty 4 modern warfare is definitley worthy of "game of the year" award simply because of its online play. This game makes Halo 3 look poor. On campaign mode you alternatively play as "soap" in the SAS, and Jackson in the US marines along with other characters as flashbacks. Having not played a single predecessor of this game, I didn't know what I was getting into. However, I am an avid fan of First Person shooter games and I found this game to be truly amazing. This is simply one of the greatest games I've played on the 360. Sure, Halo 3 is nice, but it's just not the game for me. The graphics are awesome, the campaign, although short, is good (with a couple of twists in the middle), and the sound is nothing short of amazing. I also love the multiplayer. This must be one of the best War games that ever been made. There is mutch in this game thats gives you a feeling, like you were in the game. When i played this game i couldent just stop, it was somthing with this game that made everything so real. I Almost feelt like i was a part of the game. The graphic and sounds did there part really well shadows and all the diffrent missions, how you jumped from one to another country. And i will give this game 10/10. Activision is doing a really really good job all the COD games has been wonderfull and i hope they keep up with the good work.

Advantages: Fun, long lasting

As the other reviews testify, this is an amazing game. After playing countless 360 games I found that not many have the correct balance of single player and multiplayer playing styles. The game took me only a night to complete (about 6 hours) on the normal difficulty. This might seem like a waste of a game, but I knew when I finished it that I would re-visit each heart-stopping level on the next difficulty level ... and i did :) The game plays beautifully ...
