Advantages superb online play - unbeatable
Disadvantages Slightly short campaign (but made up in quality)

Introduction This is the fourth game in this series and this particular one has been made by Infinity Ward, whilst the previous was made by Triarch. This is also somewhat of a gamble for the company as they have strayed away from the typical world war scenario and have opted for this "modern warfare". The typical world war 2 games, as we saw in the previous call of duty have always been successful and brought in many fans. Hi well it is not Lyndsay writing this review it’s Pete (Lyndsay’s other half), where have I been you may ask well I have been playing on the Call of Duty series and I have been hooked! Call Of Duty 4 : Modern warfare, sees the final breakout of the games being set in the various battlefields of WWII and into modern battlefields. With this comes new weapons, new locations and new vehicles. However, the only vehicle that you can take control of is an AC-130 Helicopter Gunship. COD4 can be split into Online and Offline Play. Advantages amazeing game

This game is absolutely spectacular I have played a lot of war games and this tops them all it is amazing first of all you start of as an sas officer in training by the name of soap you go through a very well put together training course in the beginning before you move to your first mission and you do have to pass the tasks they set you in the training course before they let you do that. Advantages Everything that this game has to offer!

This is one of the best games that I have ever played, I think it is fair to say that it was the most sucessful and most popular game to be released in 2007, but thousands continued to play this masterpiece of a game all through 2008 and many still play to this day. Despite a newer version of the Call Of Duty franchise is on the market(Call of Duty: World At War) many still regard Modern Warfare as the best ever COD video game and one of the best video-games created ever for that matter! Advantages everything
Disadvantages if you get it when its been out a while everyone is level 55 prestige 5+ (this means there good)

Call of Duty 4 Introduction Call of duty 4 modern warfare is the 1st call of duty series that is set in the present time, this is truly brilliant as the guns are advanced, and there are helicopters, air strikes, terrorists and an online that is truly fantastic. the game came out November 9th 2007 in Europe which means it is quite old, also which means that because it is so expensive at the moment at £30 the cheapest it is really over priced when it has been out for over a year. I'm sure many people will agree with me when I say this is one of the best around. Taking a break from the World War 2 story line Call of Duty 4 brings the player into the modern warfare, as the name suggest. Gone are the World War 2 weapons and in are the new modern weapons and hello a new threat to the world. I won’t go into the story line because I don’t want to spoil it for you guys reading this but I will say it’s amazing and gripping and the way the game ends will make you want to play the other two if you haven’t already just to know what happens next. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is definately one of the best FPS games on the gaming market. It shows the PS3 graphics at their best so far, with each bullet hole shaped differently. It was in competition with the new Medal of Honour game that was released around the same time. It knocked Medal of Honour: Airborne off the top ten in GAME.
