Advantages: Most maps are Great, Graphics, Sounds, Online Play Disadvantages: WWII, Guns, some Maps are Boring
...Also if you call in an Artillery Strike (5 kill streak) and a bomb lands on you, you see the body blow to pieces...Its AWESOME. Also with 7 kill streak you get dogs instead of a helicopter, and they look real.
---Sound---
Not alot to write about sound but personally I think it's good. The guns actually sound like guns in real life, and if your German and the opposition release dogs he tells you in a German accent vis versa if you were American ... ...hard and the story line is great. I think there is like 20 missions all together which is a vast improvement to COD 5. I completed it in like a week so it's quite easy. Once you have completed the game and its says you have, you actually haven't. If you go to mission select then there will be some zombie level. What it is is that you in a Building (the one on airfield) and zombies come through windows. For every zombie you kill you get points. You ...

Advantages: Fast paced, good ww2 action, lots of variety, very good graphics Disadvantages: character animations arent as good as COD4
Call of Duty 5: World at War, is the fifth installment in the call of duty series. However, it is worth mentioning here that it is made not by the original developers "Infinity Ward" but by another company called Treyarch who were responsible for Call of Duty 3 as well as some other games. Those that know call of duty 3 will know it was a bit rubbish, to be blunt. So when i heard that these chaps were making Call of Duty 5, i was less than impressed. ... ...My initial comment is that Call of Duty World at War is a more gritty, grown up outing than Call of Duty 4. I wouldn't recommend this game for younger players. The graphics are amazing and the gore is shocking sometimes. I have stuck mostly to the multiplayer to play with friends and when you get torn in half by a machine gun, have your limbs blown off by a grenade or watch an artillery shell smash your body to bits, the detail is quite intricate. ...

Advantages: Amazing Graphics - Amazing Gunfights - Amazing Sound effects Disadvantages: No cover system - Not the longest campaign
...to take out tanks - call air strikes - disable AA guns - take out hiding snipers. The gameplay is so good - its so fun to play - its so fun I completed the campaign in one sitting (8 hours).
There are many things i like about this game;
I like the camaflouge enemies that hide in the trees.
I like the ability to lay on your stomach and sliver across the floor to stay out of site.
I like the similarities to COD4.
The story is pretty much the same ... ...but it tells the story well. The campaign is slightly longer than COD4 which is good. There are so many missions I can remember - my fav mission usually come when alone with dimitri - he is a really good character - the stealth parts are well done.
Overall the game is superb and really shows what the PS3 can do - it shows also that there is still life in the WW2 games. ...

Advantages: call of duty 4 but 60 years in the past, nazi zombies re just the best Disadvantages: just a copy of call of duty 4, not a bad thing just nothing new
=== Call of duty world at war === i now have both call of duty world at war both on the Nintendo wii and the play station 3, after the first five minutes i decided that i would never play the wii version again, the ps3 version is so much better, with one extra mission in campaign, Nazi zombies which is worth £20, no lagg, more maps and multiplayer modes, campaign co-op and competitive co-op, way better visuals and most importantly dlc (downloadable ... ...do. i own also call of duty 4 modern warfare on the ps3, unfortunately even with no Nazi zombies, trophies and co-op call of duty modern warfare is still better, even though it is 2 years older than world at war. also i feel as if treyarch has just nicked everything from call of duty modern warfare and put it into call of duty but set in 1940-1945 which is good as it gives call of duty 4 a sort of second part but in the past but it would of been ...

Call of Duty was always the competetor against Medal of Honour almost every year. It was the equivalent of FIFA against Pro Evolution Soccer for a long time, before Call of Duty 4, that is. It blew all that we knew about the series out of the water. Medal of Honour: Airbourne had nothing over it. Its simple gameplay made for easy use and controls that are now considered standards for first-person shooters. However seeing that Treyarch and Infinity ... ...way to introduce new content. Call of Duty takes advantage of this very well. Already two new map packs have been released each for £7.99 each. I think these are great value for money as each have given 3 new maps and a zombie map too. The most recent pack also contains a new gun. The online mode was no dissapointment in my eyes. Even more map content and tactical assesment to be made when playing game modes like "Search and Destroy", where one team ...

Call Of Duty World At War
This Game is an excellent game if you like to play online. I didnt like the story mode to this game as it got very boring extremely quickly. One new thing on this game is that you can play Natzi Zombies, which is a new game mode. Basically you have to kill all the zombies without dying and every time you reach the next level it gets a lot harder. On CoD World At War you can play Co-op in the story mode which is where you ... ...Just like on call of duty 4 you can have weapon attachments but you cant have weapon camouflages.
Here are the weapon attachments, which you can unlock.
- Suppresser - Aperture sight - Telescopic sight
- Grenade launcher - Bayonet Some of the maps online are way too big but most of the maps are pretty good on this game. If your thinking of buying this game it is definitely well worth buying. This Review Can Also Be Found On Dooyoo Under TriicKShoTz ...

Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare was my favourite game of all time. So needless to say I could not wait for this title to be released. When I found out that the game was being based on the World War again I was a little disappointed and worried that it would not be as good as COD4. And in my opinion I was right to think this.
I spend most of my time playing this game online. So the maps are an important factor in my enjoyment of the game. However ... ...7 kill streak you now call in a pack of dogs, which is quite a good improvisation.
Another disadvantage is that the unifroms are quite similar and it can sometimes be difficult to tell who's in your team and who's not. Althought the more you play it the better you become ate spotting the difference.
The main plus point is of course the graphics, which are stunning, Everything is brilliantly detailed, making this the most realistic game I have ever ...

...whether it is better than call of duty 4. Still Any fans of the series or general World War 2 shooters will absolutly love this title. The story line is rather short compared to most games of similar style, though is extremerly entertaining. Advantages: Good online game Disadvantages: Takes some getting used to
The Call of Duty series continues to impress with this addition to the family. World at War is set during World War two, the story mode takes you through many different historic battles fighting as a character from the many different countries involved such as American, Russian, German and Japan.
You move through each level fighting alongside your squad members, which are controlled by the computer. There is a fantastic choice of weapons through ... ...WW2 as well as the well as the clothing and scenery. This together with great graphics and user friendly controls gives a very realistic war game indeed.
The one player mode only scratches the surface of what this shooter has to offer. Going online really opens up a world of options giving this game a lifespan perhaps 100 fold of what any shooter could have prior to the introduction of online gaming. Online you can play though the story mode with ...

Advantages: Great online Disadvantages: Boring story
Call of Duty, Id say is the best FPS (First Person Shooter) in the world, especially with the last instalment of Call of Duty (Modern Warfare). And now on cue welcome Call of Duty 5 (World at War), you are placed (Yet again) in world war two as a lean mean fighting machine. The AI are smarter faster and die quicker and the graphics ain't bad either. However the story is a real let down, it took me 2 hours to complete the game because its so quick ... ...online game is amazing just like the last one.
With even more power then the last, including tanks yes tanks!!
Just like the last one getting kill streaks will get you some perks.
* 3 kills will get recon
* 5 kills will get you air strike * 7 kills will get you killer dogs
So my advice only get this game if you have online access, otherwise it will just gather dust. ...

Call of Duty: WAW; the next instalment in the hugely successful franchise, certainly lives up to all the hype including a menagerie of new weapons, maps and perks.
It has to be said the storyline is again short and lacks any sort of material gameplay in my opinion however what the campaign mode lacks, the online play certainly makes up for in bucketfuls.

Advantages: Many possibilities. Disadvantages: You might become addicted.
This game for Playstation 3 is a great game in my personal experience. The single player campaign contained epic battles. Someone who is interested in the history of WWII will want to play this game for sure. You play as the Americans in the Pacific, fighting the Japanese in the Pacific, and in a certain mission, you will be a primary gunner in an American raid from a plane. In the Russian Campaign, you will first fight off General Amsel's troops ... ...the final epic battle, you will raid the Reichstag. And when you complete the campaign, you will have the option to play a bonus level, Nacht der Untoden. But I'm not gonna tell you anything about that, you'll have to find it out for yourself...
But that's just the single player campaign. For more players, you have two options, cooperative and multiplayer. Cooperative is generally all the missions you can play in the single player campaign, but ...

Activision have done it again and this time transforming you back to WWII, if you were a huge fan of COD4 you will not be dissapointed, this game for either Xbox 360 or Ps3 has captured the gaming world by storm and is probably at this moment in time the most played game online, if your looking for realism true sound and amazing graphics this has it all, there was a lot of talk before the release that this wouldnt be able to compete with the much ... ...good but in a different time zone (hence taking you back to WWII). This game has to be certainly one of the best releases to date for the PS3. The game is fast and frantic fan's of shoot 'em ups will be liking this game.
