Advantages: Pacific Theatre is amazing, Sound effects are good, More fun than Call of Duty 3, Flamethrowers! Disadvantages: Eastern front missions look drab, Occasional glitch, Poor multiplayer
Having played Call of Duty 3 for the Wii, and not being too disappointed about the Wii missing out of Call of Duty 4 (being a WW2 history fanatic) I was deeply looking forward to Call of Duty: World at War, returning to World War 2 and it was apparently going to incorporate the, until then, elusive Pacific theatre of war. It proved to be a very good game, but with some minor adjustments it could have been a great game. == Gameplay == Gameplay wise, ... ...not to draw comparisons from Call of Duty 3 for the Wii. I remember the tacky feeling system in Call of Duty 3 that had you rotate/push/pull your Wiimote to perform certain tasks. Luckily this is dropped in this game and aside from using the Wiimote as the cursor it is not used elsewhere in gameplay, which is what it should be. You follow Private Miller in the Pacific theatre, following him from Makin Island through Peleliu to the Battle of Okinawa. ...

Advantages: Great gameplay even better Online Disadvantages: Quite simply the graphics
...I have always been a call of duty fan and when i heard the 5th version was coming on to the wii, i was very exited. I pre-ordered the game straight away.
Once it arived on thje release day i pluged it in andstarted to play the story mode. At first, getting used to the controlls was difficult and i played teh first l;evel around 20 times before i completed it. Eventually by the second level i was a pro! The graphics were good in terms of the wii ... ...and full of suspense. At times i felt like i was in the game. There are 2 sides of the story, one is the American and Japan conflict in the islands around Japan and one is teh Russian invasion of Germany. Both in WW2. Even though there are hundreds of WW2 games for all consoles, this is the best due to its story and range of weaponary. What completes this game and makes it a must buy is its online feature. Players join others in a group of 4 to go ...

Advantages: Easy to get into Disadvantages: Unable to communicate with anyone whilst playing lol
Girls, this is the IDEAL GAME to treat your man to if you want to keep him occupied and out of your hair for a few hours on a Sunday morning, leaving you in peace and quiet to catch up with the Hollyoaks omnibus in bed with a cup of coffee lol. I even managed to catch up with Ship Wrecked (which I have to say as a pile of poop at the moment).
I bought this game and the wii zapper gun attachment from Game as a Valentines Day pressie for my boyfriend ... ...a few times but don't seem to have the knack as much as he does - although he is a soldier so would be better than me anyway ;o)
The graphics are awesome and you can very easily get sucked into the game - clearly this is helped by my new fab tv too hehe
Will practice some more and update this review properly soon. ...

Also my girlfirend seems to like it, which is a bonus! A great game for the wii, a must have for any gamer! ...

I borrowed this game of a friend a couple of weeks ago. At first i thought that this game was too hard and i just wanted to give up on it but after a bit of getting used to it and a hundred attempts at the first level i really got in to it. Start on a hard level at first and then if you find it too hard you can always reduce the level. I started it on an average level and i admit it was too hard so i completed it on easy. The game is very life like ...
