Calvin and Hobbes
Review of Calvin and Hobbes - Bill Watterson by Miller

Advantages: Very funny
Disadvantages: too short

...is my opinion on all Calvin and Hobbes books. Calvin and Hobbes is a fun colourfull well drawn comic book about a six year old boy (Calvin) and his imaginary tiger friend Hobbes. But dont let this make you think it is just for kids. Calvin and Hobbes is a very humourus comic but also makes you think. Allthough the writer Bill Watterson has now retired there is easily enough collections in the shops to keep you going for a while. These books are great. ... Read review

Review of Calvin and Hobbes - Bill Watterson by hobbes

Advantages: Funny, well drawn, good characters, timeless
Disadvantages: He stopped drawing them

Comic Genius
Review of Calvin and Hobbes - Bill Watterson by taylor1967

Advantages: Lets you stop thinking about the real world
Disadvantages: Makes you wish you were a kid again

Im a huge Calvin and Hobbes fan everything about the books makes me laugh from Calvins snow art to his dads witty cynism to Hobbes' great flair for fashion (a spotted tie goes great with the striped fur). One of the main themes in all of the books is Calvins feelings for Susie (his neighbour) him and Hobbes start a club G.R.O.S.S (Get Rid Of Slimy girlS) they use a treehouse as their meeting place and discuss what pranks the can play on Susie most ... I got a number of Calvin and Hobbs of a friend and have still not returned them 5 years on. I love these books for their ease of reading, humour and drawings.
