Advantages: Good basic printer, very reliable Disadvantages: none
I've had one of these for about 3 years now and have found it to be a very reliable, easy to use printer.
The quality of text is excellant, photos are not up to todays standards but it is 3 years old, colour text and basic graphics are very good.
This has two ink tanks, black and a colour one so operating costs are not too bad. Replacement cartridges are no where near as dear as the equivilent Epson or HP printer. A good range of oem cartridges ...

Advantages: quality, well built Disadvantages: speed
Have a BJC 4300 with the photo colour cartridge. It prints about 5 ppm black and about 3 ppm colour. The photo colour cartridge works incredible. prints as good as a poloroid on the glossy paper. the printer tends to be a bit hard on the ink though but not that bad. It does not leave blotches on the paper or bleed. I find it is an excellent value for my dollar and is very reliable. I never have paper jams or garbage come out of it. all options of ...

Advantages: Cheap to run Disadvantages: Very basic capabilities
This was my first printer, which cost me around £300 in 1995. At the time it was one of the first printers for that price range that used colour and black cartridges simultaneously (instead or swapping between them)
It is relatively cheap to run, this is thanks to having the ink cartridges separate to the print head.
It was great for Printing text but was not relay designed for printing pictures, this capability came further down the range ...
