The Cannon BJC 4200 was a fairly good printer in its time. Now a days as newer models have been produced, it is falling well below standards. The quality of the print out is not particularly high quality and tends to be fairly slow. The ink cartridges need to be replaced regularly, which could be a problem if you have a large document to print out. However newer models from cannon are up to date and meet all modern specifications. I wouldn’t recommend ...

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: unreliable, badly designed
...the case with my printer! Canon is a big name, so you kind of expect quality! This particular model is awful though, it's badly designed - mine is continually full of dust which doesn't do the heads or print quality any favours, the paper tray is flimsy and has a habit of falling off and the ink cartridges are expensive. It's also slow, noisy and unattractive. I really can't think of anything I do like about it! Mine has been particularly temperamental ...

I have owned this printer for about 4 years. In that time it has never let me down. I have been inpressed by its quality and reliability. One of the first Photo printers to come on the market it still prints high quality pictures on glossy photo paper.
