To start with the Xm2 is a great bit of technology packed tightly into a neat package. It is easy to carry and is reasonable to operate handheld. The picture quality I find varies allot depending on what quality DV tape you use. Using Premium quality tapes gives allot better colour but either obtain a sharp crisp image.
