Advantages: Good Picture Quality, Quite Fast, High Resolution Disadvantages: SCSI so complicated for non Techies, Can't get Negative Scanner to function on XP
I have owned this scanner a few years now and have used it regularly and found it very good and it produces good quality images and has a high enough resolution to satisfy most people.
It is quite easy to setup if you have previous knowledge of SCSI but if you have little you may struggle. Once the Scangear software is installed that will cater for most of your scanning needs, although in setting up you need to setup pictures to be saved as JPG ...
