Advantages: small, lightweight, good output connectivity Disadvantages: Fault in cassete loading mechanism
This camera was bundled with a computer I bought three years ago. With a purpose of making movies and burning it into VCD's. The controls are easily accessed. They are also very easy to use and master. It has stills capability but it is not that very good in resolution.However the video function and it's audio capture is terrific. Batery life was a problem as it is only good for an hour with the one originaly supplied. Connecting this to a Televion ... ...and fire wire port. It was perfect for the first two years. Now I encountered a problem with its cassette loading mechanism. It always say to remove the cassette. So I can not use it anymore.I am not a technical person and I can not see any reference of this problem to it's brochures. I have used about a dozen tape with the camcorder with that two years when I encountered with that problem. ...
