Advantages Advantages slimline body, lightweight, mostly easy to use, good quality results

Disadvantages Disadvantages selective colour impossible to figure out, would prefer traditional buttons over touch screen

Canon have a number of Ixus models in their range of compacts however what sets this (and the 210) apart from the others is that it has a touch screen LCD. I don't know about everyone else but I can't say this is a feature that I particularly desire in a compact. Specifications: - 12.1mp - 5x optical zoom - 3" touch screen LCD - 24mm lens - lithium ion battery - SD compatability There are a number of different settings that you can pick from including a relatively extensive scenes menu - within this is a selective colour option however neither I, anyone at the camera shop I work in, or a ... more

Advantages Advantages touch AF, ultra wide angle

Disadvantages Disadvantages touch AF can interfere with face detection

Advantages Advantages easy to use, small

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none as yet

I needed a simple to use point an shoot camera after reading lots of reviews decided to look at the ixus range by canon. The camera I choose is the Ixus 200 12.1 megapixels with a touch screen for some functions. Love the look of the camera, yes I know that is not everyones priority. Very good size fits easily into a pocket or bag. Easy to use I didn't even need to use the instruction manual, although I have taken a peak and it is simple and clear. The functions are more than I really need for a point and shoot camera, but I hope to become a liitle more ambitious as I become more familiar with ... more
