I bought this camera a day before my holiday and have just come back after a week armed with nearly 1000 photos. It took only the afternoon after it arrived to go through the menus and get the hang of using it and after only a few photos I knew I had made an excellent choice. Even on medium 1 resolution (1600 x 1200) and fine compression (giving approx 50 images per 32Mb Compact Flash Card) you can zoom in to see minute detail.
