Advantages: Fast writing, low light/high ISO setting, huge screen, robust Disadvantages: Auto focussing
...3200 ISO setting and the Canon 70-200 mm F2.8L image stabilising lens. A lovely combination and the results are outstanding. The down side - I didn't need to wait for the four months to realise that the autofocussing on this camera takes some getting used to. On occasions where I cover sporting events, I have found that despite playing with a number of different focussing modes on the 1D, I get better focussing accuracy when using the 20D and 5D ... ...photographers.
I love the results I have created with this masterpiece at the top end of Canon's DSLR's. It's a heavy bit of kit, but the weight appears to be relative to the quality of build in digital photography. It's certainly appears to be a robust bit of kit. The MK III model utilises a new battery that is not compatible with previous models (the 1D Mk 1, Mk 2 & Mk2N). I think this indicates a lack of corporate imagination and environmental ...

Advantages: Everything but one Disadvantages: Heavy device and abit chunky
In my prestegious efforts to find the best digital cameras on the market, i found many contenders for best, but after alot of research, i concluded that this was the best, and here is why. My old camera is seeing the best of my cupboard nowadays, now that this is within arms reach; I take it everywhere i go and has earned a place in my backpack along with my phone and wallet as the 10.1 mega pixel monster unleashes it's flash with a hearty tone which ... ...and is perfect for those picture moments when used with its multi picture option. I used it on my holiday to Barcelona a couple months back and I returned home with some quality pictures. Although it is slightly on the heavy/chunky side and may not be suitable for people who prefer lighter/smaller cameras, from my it is excellent for keen photogrophers and is probably the best digicam about. Buy one, nothing to loose. ...
