Canon have released an excellent performing camera. This camera is nearly as good as the more expensive eos 40D. The menu is incredibly easy to use even for a novice like me. The 3 inch lcd screen is very clear and simple to understand. The 12 million pixels creates beautiful pictures and gives you massive scope for enlarging and cropping and still create excellent clarity pictures after zooming in on PC. Advantages: simple to use, typical canon menus
Disadvantages: not too waterproof

having had an old type S.L.R camera which broke i had no choice but to move on to digital but to my surprise i found the EOS 450 very easy to use. with its fully automatic option giving you the ability to start taking photographs straight away.

I buy this Digital Canon EOS 450D with kit 18-55mm several weeks ago. this is my first Digital SLR camera and its perfect.

Advantages: aside from the latest technologies canon used in this DLSR its design
Disadvantages: maybe a bit too pricey for the avereage guy but if your a serious photographer this is a great cam
