Since digital cameras get cheaper and cheaper every year, due to the rapidly improvement in regard to technology, I also decided to buy one for my home photographing activity. Here are my experiences, I want to share with you: Equipment/Items delivered: * the Canon EOS 600D * Battery, recharging and power cable * lens cover and carrying strap * USB to Mini-USB-Cable * Stereo-AV-cable * digital manual and printed manual * NO HDMI-cable included! 4 Stars A Dream Camera 24/01/2012

Advantages Advantages Great Quality, Clear Pictures, Well worth the money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little heavy

This camera is an awesome device. I had just used basic digital cameras, and even several Canon brands, and they always tended to last longer than the Kodak cameras. I got this camera a couple months ago as a gift for Christmas, and it has really been a dream come true. I have been wanting to persue my dream of doing photography as a hobby, and later on maybe doing it as a career, and just by using this camera for the several months, I can tell that this is going to be a great starter camera. The only thing that I would change, is that it would be lighter--which I guess being used to hand held ... more

Advantages Advantages very light, easy to use, a very good instrucion manual.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not able to think of one bad think!

Moved up from a Compact Digital to this Canon 600D and not disappointed at all. For the first time since owning a camera I've been able to take some amazing shots of everyday things in the garden and surrounding areas that look professional and bring a new dimension to amateur photography in my opinion. If you're thinking of moving up a gear from compact digital to Digital SLR then go for this one you will love it, my only advice is do your homework on the price before committing to purchase. If your moving from a digital camera to this, you'll instantly notice the difference, as the picture ... more

Advantages Advantages As a complete novice to a DSLR I was able to use it straight out of the box

Disadvantages Disadvantages A lot of learning to do to get the best out of the camera on manual modes

I was a little concerned about paying this kind of money for my first DSLR because they just look so difficult to use and I wasn't sure if I would be able to get good pictures out of it. However I was amazed at how easy it was to get started...out of the box, charge up the battery, on to auto mode and I was away capturing pictures with the most stunning level of detail and picture quality. Clearly to get the best out of the 600D you have to do your homework and become familiar with some of the manual settings but the results from basic settings are remarkable compared to the very good compact ... more
