    Advantages Advantages Image quality, nice to hold, easy to use.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages I really can't think of any!

    When designing this camera Canon actually asked photographers what they wanted which was very nice of them :) Hence the 7D was born with an 18MP sensor (APS-C size), 8 frames per second shooting rate, a 100% view finder, HD video recording capability and easy menu navigation. I upgraded from a Canon 400D as I already had lenses for that and didn't want to change to another manufacturer. And my word I'm glad I bought the 7D.     Advantages Advantages Good quality camera that in the hands of the right person will serve them well.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be a little pricey for amateur photographers.

    The first thing I am going to say is that I am an avid Canon fan. Every printer, camera or video-camera I have ever owned has been Canon and I have never been let down by their service or products. That's the first benefit of this camera, the Canon after service that you'll receive should anything happen to your product. Having been an amateur photographer for most of my teenage life, when I finally had a bit of cash to spend I went into the market for cameras.     Advantages Advantages Easy to use and set up. Lots of features to help make your photographic experience rewarding.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Performance at high ISO settings can be disappointing at times

    I had had several year experience with an entry level DSLR before I bought the Canon 7D. I like trying new things with cameras and I had got as far as I could with my old camera. I have now had my 7D for 2 years and have still not gone through all of what it is capable. So lots to go for in the future. Out of the box it is incredibly easy to set up and taking stunning shots. The quick view of common control setting is excellent when switching from landscape to macro or whatever.     Fantastic quality, great features and a joy to use. Video quality is exceptional and the new autofocus is rapid. Everything works like lightning with the dual processors. I am a keen photographer and the main advantage is there are no real gimmicks...just top notch features that are useful to a creative photographer. 8 fps works for a sustained period even if working at highest quality settings. I am glad that i bought this instead of the Nikon D300s due to free bundled software and extra features. If I already had Nikon gear the decision would not have been as straightforward although ... more

    Advantages Advantages Water Resistent, FAST burst speed, Fits very nicely in the hand.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Little heavy for petite users

    I loved my 7D straight away, pictures where quality, design was beautiful, and if fits very beautifully in your hand. I was very satisfied with the video quality and the artistic shots you can get with this camera are untouchable from 99% of the camcorders out there. Life was great...then the 60D came out. A fraction of the price, nice build quality (while not magnesium alloy still feels substantial over the t2i). The articulating screen had me cringing in envy.
