Advantages: good picture quality in most aplications, very light ,good batery life Disadvantages: focus can be poor in very low light recordings
...under £200 which for a brand new model isn't too bad but I suspect this is a vision of the future and all camcorders will go solid state soon and the price will come down to ~£100 like the base level Minidv camcorders from JVC and Canon have done. ...

Advantages: small, good looking, long battery life, quick transferring of footage Disadvantages: No high Def.
The key fact to this video camera is that it records onto flash memory. Because it uses these SD and SDHC flash memory cards you get some useful benefits; 1) The battery last longer than HDD, DVD or tape cameras. The standard filming time is 3 hours. 2) Transferring video and photos to a PC is incredibly simple, you just stick the SD card into your PC card reader (I haven't seen a PC sold without a built in reader for years) and drag the files over ... ...light, not much bigger than a digital camera. So it can fit into your bag without it being a pain to carry around. It's also pretty good looking which is a nice bonus and really well designed to fit in your hand comfortably.
Its worth mentioning that if you forget to put a SD card in you can still record directly onto the internal memory. Also as SD and SDHC cards get bigger and bigger in capacity you have a camera that will never be limited by ...

Advantages: Good image and long battery life Disadvantages: Bad instruction for PC connection.
I bought this camcorder 6 months ago. It produces excellent image and very good sound quality. It is good enough for family use with reasonable price. It records every happy moment successfully. ''' It is a small size and stylish looking camcorder. ''' It is not exactly a pocket size camcorder but it definitely won't be a big piece of luggage for your travelling. To avoid damage the camcorder, I ordered a bag as well to protect the device and store ... ...very easy to handle it. '''It is a quite memory card camcorder.''' It can use Secure Digital (SD) card and Secure Digital with High Capacity (SDHC) card, which is a popular type of memory card used by most digital device for storage. Since it uses memory card, so the batteries life is good and it also does not have the ...

Quick review of Canon FS100
This is a great little camera that packs a pretty big punch. If you looking for a professional camera then look elsewhere as this is not the camera for you.
Pros
- Tiny Size
- Able to swap out SD cards
- Battery lasts longer as it has no moving parts
Cons
- Doesn't do HD quality
- Films poorly in dark lighting. It does have a light but doesn't cut it.
So if your looking for a camera that you can fit in your bag or coat and just want don't want it to get in the way then pick it up. If you looking for a pro camera then think about spending a little more.
Overall it's a great camera for the money. ...
