Advantages Advantages Great print results, good speed, not over priced

Disadvantages Disadvantages No USB cable had to purchase one.

As I have a little addiction when it comes to photos and stacking up my photo album, adding them to disc to just in case anything happens to my paper copies; when my printer decided to pack up I was going to get both a printer and scanner. But then when browsing I found it cheaper to buy an all in one system which I went for in the end. Canon Printer and Scanner MP210: 'This standard Photo-All-in-One offers quality printing, scanning and copying at home' My Findings: For me this is a great two in one printer as I love old photos and when my Granddad passed away a few years back he had many old ... more

Advantages Advantages Low priced, reasonably efficient printing- scanning-copying

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow in operation, heavy, costly cartridge

I have this Canon printer that I have been using since long and though I have had several new ones in between this continue to adorn my desk space as a spare printer just in case the more fancy ones broke down. I bought this printer around four years back. There has been neither any malfunction nor any repair in all these years despite being moved around and shifted from house to house. That speaks something about its durability though I should take some credit as I have taken good care of it. Multifunction three-in-one printers at that time were an expensive proposition though I bought it in ... more

Advantages Advantages Very low price, carries out all basic tasks well, photo-print quality is excellent

Disadvantages Disadvantages Basic feature set, low-quality scanner, ridiculously high-priced cartridges

I bought this printer to replace the PIXMA ip1600 which I had before, prompted by the £20 cashback offer Canon was running at the time. This allowed me to purchase a multifunction machine for cheaper than replacing the cartridges on the ip1600! Unfortunately the cashback offer has now expired, but this machine is still available at an incredibly low price for the features. Out of the box, the MP210 is averagely sized for a multifunction machine, coming in at round about 45cm x 35cm x 17cm (not counting the headspace it needs for the scanner lid to open). The buttons on the front panel are ... more

Advantages Advantages cheap, prints, copy, scans well. good all rounder

Disadvantages Disadvantages no usb, large size

Having been an epson devotee when my printer gave in, i wanted a cheap and cheerful, yet decent all in one. I bought this with the benefit of a £20 cashback offer and so got an exceptional bargain. I was looking for everyday printing and this delivers that very well. Image wise i like the block shape and like the back loading as it keeps the paper in better shape than other basic models. Print quality is great for its target market and it copies/scans just fine for my home/student needs. I find it quieter than the epson and just as speedy. The top set buttons are easy to see and read ... more

Advantages Advantages Good value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I bought this printer about a month ago and I am very, very impressed with it. For the price, I can't complain about anything at all. Set up was easy and took no time at all. Print quality is excellent and very fast. Scanning and photocopying is easy, a quick and effortless process. It's a little larger than I expected it to be taking up quite a lot of desk space, but i's good looking and feels very solid. The paper loads from the back, which may be a problem for some, but I don't find it to be an issue at all. I haven't tried printing any photos yet so I can't comment on that function. I ... more

Advantages Advantages Inexpensive, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Paper loads from the rear(not a problem for everyone)

I purchased this printer in December and it is simply the best printer I have had . It is extremely easy to use,all the navigation tools are easy to understand the quality of printing and scanning is excellent and the photographs are exceptional especially considering I paid less than fifty pounds for it. If there are any down sides to this printer it is that the paper loads from the back and where my printer is situated this makes it hard for me to load however this would not be a problem for all users. I have printed numerous photographs and I have not yet had to change cartridges, and the ... more

4 Stars Quick review of Canon PIXMA MP210 by Level 1 herbietheone 07/01/2008
All-in-one machines are usually more expensive than their simple printing counterparts and it's unusual to find one at under £50. Canon's new PIXMA MP210 is unusual, though, and offers all the copy and scanning advantages of its bigger siblings at a true budget price. For a Japanese product, this Canon is surprisingly bulky, with a large grey and black case echoing the lacquer-box look of its immediate predecessors. A 100-sheet feed tray folds open and extends up at the back and an output tray folds down and pulls out from the front.

4 Stars Quick review of Canon PIXMA MP210 by Bob.Astill 20/04/2008
A very good all in one printer. The ink cartridges don't last long though - I only managed to print out about ten photos and image started to fade. Not a bad printer with the £20.00 cash back from Canon!!! I was hoping to use it with my Mac as well but I only want to use the Op system 9.2 and it don't like it. The fact that the cartridges have their own heads make the quality of the prints very good, although it makes them a lot dearer to buy.

Advantages Advantages cheap, does what it says

    Disadvantages Disadvantages somtimes abit slow

A real decent quality printer for the price, and does exactly what it claims to.If you are on a budget and need a printer this is a good start. I wouldnt reccomend it for serious photo/file printing though as the quality isnt the best and it seems to drain the cartilidge more than my last printer but for the price you really cant complain! If you have an small business office or work for home occasionally it is an good deal. Although it does the job, you can be ripped off in shops.Ive seen huge price differences between cartilidges in stores. You also need to buy a USB cable to connect the ... more
