I have been the proud owner of MV550i Digital Camcorder for just over a year and it has proved to be well up to the tasks I expect of it. Disadvantages Poor lighting at night and tape noise
The Canon MV650i is part of the MV600 range. It's the top model and is packed with loads of features. It's recording methood is Mini DV which produce fantastic quality film. The camera itself is very small and compact and very lightweight. It's silver in colour with light up buttons which you have a choice of colours to pick from to personalise it. Advantages Extremely easy to use, superb value, Superb lens with powerful zoom capabilities
Disadvantages Poorly located on/off switch
I have wanted a Camcorder for about 12 months but I am the sort of person who feels nervous about buying these sort of things on impulse. I did a lot of research reading as many articles as possible, getting the feel of the hardware in my local electrical retailers and making decisions as to what sort of things I wanted to do with the camera and the output I would create.
