Advantages: Looks good Disadvantages: Loud operating noise which is picked up by the microphone
We recently purchased this camera and took it back the next day. We chose it because it had a lot of features and we felt it was good value for money. We paid £349. Have a look at the specification below to see why we chose it:

Advantages: Very compact unit, lots of features and very easy to use. A very nice camera for the price Disadvantages: To be honest, I cannot think of any disadvantages that spring to mind. I like the camera a lot
When looking to purchase a new digital camcorder I weighed up the facts that I had to hand.
My friend had just bought a sony camcorder and he had his fair share of problems with it, which all got sorted in the end, But who needs the head-ache. So I steered clear of sony.
I own 3 digital cameras which I have bought over the years and 2 of them are Canon, So I know that I was buying into a good quality brand that wouldn't let me down.
I have taken ... ...wouldnt be without it, the only reason I will probably upgrade it due to the fact that I would like one with a hard drive built in as mini-dv tapes can sometimes cost a fair bit !
All that leaves to be said is, Look out on ebay for a second hand one as these little babies are very robust (I know i've dropped mine twice). They have a loads of features and basically give excellent picture and sound quality ...
