This is a good value for money camcorder and is top for its price range.
Good pionts:
The camcorder is light but not too light otherwise you will need a good optical stabiliser to compensate for the hand movement. 45 minutes of filming is not too tiring.
The battery is a long life battery - personal experience: 45 minutes of continuous filming with LCD full on only consumed slightly less than half of the battery life. It comes with a built-in ... ...It also comes with a shoulder/neck strap so that you don't need to fetch it from the bag and it is small enough to fit into coat pockets.
Big enough LCD screen and rotatble for filming at various height and angles.
Joystick button for menu navigation (playback functions as well) is a 'joy' to use.
Extra LED lights for low light, short distance filming.
Can take pictures (1.3MPix only) by pressing a separate button with SD card slot for photo ...
