Canon PIXMA MP750/Multi-function Printer

Having been through a succession of cheap printers in the past, we decided that this time, if we were going to get a printer, we were going to get one that lasted the course. We wanted something with ink that didn't cost the same as the printer to replace, and actually printed more than 2 sheets before running out! Being an amature photographer, I decided to purchase the Canon PIXMA MP750/Multi-function Printer, so that I can print of photos from my digital camera. Since I have I can honestly say that it has changed my life without a shadow of doubt. The photo quality is excellent, and is made simple by the software that comes with the printer. Simply load in the paper, select the photos you want to print, and how many of each that you want, select the paper you are about to print on and I under 50 seconds later you get a 5x7 professional quality photo. I bought my Pixma MP750 approximately 9 months ago, and have never been other than delighted with it. It is very easy to use, and the supplied software is excellent, e.g. CD Print (allows you tp print directly onto Printable CD's), Canon Easy Photo-Print (allows you to easily print photos on to all different sizes and types of paper) Canon Easy-WebPrint (allows you to easily print any web page, automatically formatting the wider pages to fit on to A4 paper), MP Navigator (allows for easy scanning of all types of photos/document, the latter with OCR). This is a great all in one stand alone from Canon. Small, convenient and stylish. Fits onto a desk top even a shelf - convenient to all small home offices. Fantastic results from the copier, scanner or printer with high print and copy speeds (25ppm mono and 17ppm colour). Automatic paper feed (35 sheets) better than most. Could be seen as a disadvantage - having 5 individual inktanks. Cannon, however, have turned this into a positive and made them all individually replaceable, saving time, wastage and money.
