Shockingly Bad, see image links for proof.
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by andybuck123

Advantages: Scanner was ok
Disadvantages: terrible prints, large, cant send back

-----| First Impressions |----- Came well packed, no clutter and was easy to unpack. I got the whole printer connected up and ready to install in about 10 minutes. All the parts were very easy to install, and the manual was good as it was just easy to follow pictures and i got up and running in no time. All good so far. However it is a bit large, bigger than i thought it would be for something that only printed A4. -----| Software |----- The ... Read review

Great budget printer, scanner/photocopier!
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by sentientphil

Advantages: ease of use, one touch photocopying, silent mode, user friendly, does what it needs to do, normal
Disadvantages: likes flat paper, high quality ink runs low quickly!

What a printer for the price! I have owned this MP160 for over a year now, and it has produced excellent photo's, and excellent documents! its scanner is excellent and is very good for text! i have noted that people have said its photo quality is bad, but every photo i have printed has come out perfect, although you do have to use the proper fine photo ink cartridge (about £5 more) as the normal cartridge is designed for document colours and normal ... Decent Printer at a Good Price
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by iToast

Advantages: Prints, Scans and Copies and isn't that expensive
Disadvantages: Not top notch quality; slightly flimsy

Design Looks & Feel: Not the most attractive printer, but suitably executive looking and smart enough for any office. It is designed compactly, and so a lot of functions are crammed into not that much space. The scanner/photocopier part that lifts up is very flimsy and does not give the impression of a good, solid piece of equipment. User Interface: The button panel on the front of the printer is incredibly easy to operate. There's ... Read review

canon mp160 Great Value for money!
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by andywebber

Advantages: Cheap, reasonable quality
Disadvantages: medium speed

I recently purchased the canon mp160 as my old all in one printer was rubbish. It jammed all the time and was very slow! I thought that the printer was quite cheap as were the ink cartridges. i made the mistake before of buying a cheap printer but the cartidges were a rip off! Installation was easy, as the quick guide and installation CD are very simple. It only took about 15 minutes to set everything up before I was on my way. The printer is not ... Read review

Canon MP160
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by charlotetc

Advantages: Easy to install, easy to use
Disadvantages: A seperate USB cable needs to be purchased

Ordered the canon mp160 as my old all in one printer was very old and no longer working effectively. I liked the fact that this printer was reasonably inexpensive and the cartridges appear to be cheap. Installing the printer is very easy. The quick guide and installation CD are very easy to use, and I had installed the printer to be computer in less than 10minutes. The printer is not as fast as some, but as far as I can tell the print outs are ... Read review

All round good printer . . . .
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by lucypattrick

Advantages: easy to use, easy to change ink cartridges, good print quality, can print straight from carmera
Disadvantages: a bit on the large side, not compatible with all camera's

This printer is easy to use from the start. From the setting up of the printer to the actual printing. The instruction manual and cd-rom are idiot proof. The cartridges are easy to install and readyly available to purchase (and not to expensive either). The print quality is excellent even if you are using a low quality paper. Obviously the paper the better the quality. I use mine to print a lot of things for hand made cards and scrapbooking and ... Read review

Quick review of Canon Pixma MP160
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by goldman

canon pixma 160 is an excellent printer. It gives first class photos and is very easy on the ink, which is a good thing because the cartridges are quite pricey. It is also very simple to operate compared to some printers. I rate it very highly and would recommend it to anyone.

A mismatched multi
Review of Canon Pixma MP160 by redewenur

Advantages: Very good printer
Disadvantages: Very bad scanner

...sharp, colour accurate results, the Canon did not. Half-toning was the major, and quite visible, fault. You may wonder why I saw fit to compare it with the Epson. The reason is that Canon's printer deserves such a quality companion; and my advice is, buy a printer of this standard - Canon if you like - and don't buy a scanner until you can afford a one of matching quality. ...
