...As regards printing cartridges, the Canon brand may not be the cheapest, but then again, you must pay for quality. Also, there aren't really any "cheap" brands of much worth available anyway. I bought this printer because I needed one that had a scanner, photocopier and a printer. It is reasonably priced and comes with all the booklets and discs that you will need to use it to its full potential. It claims to produce "photo lab quality printing", though this takes a while. ...will have to buy the canon cartridges which are not cheap!! But for the money I paid (£39) it is an excellent quality printer/scanner and can't be beaten for quality and price. If you do a search online you will be able to find it on sale at many outlets so do a comparison price search as it still goes for a good price if researched well. Happy printing! ...
