I bought this camera very cheaply secondhand to use for rocket aerial photography. After hitting the ground hard many times it soon became apparent that the camera was more durable than expected, with no malfunctions after a few months use. ...MISSING WHEN OPENED, AND TOOK CANON UK 3 MONTHS TO SHIP THE PARTS, AFTER CLAIMING THAT THE PART ( A BATERY COVER DID NOT EXIST). CONTROLS SIMPLE TO USE, THOUGH BATTERY COVER AND CF COVER NOT WELL BUILT AND WILL FAIL WITH REGUALR USE. GOOD DESIGN THAT HAS NOT DATED, THOUGH NOT TO THE STANDARD OF THE IXUS OR OLYMPUS MJU, WHICH ARE DATELESS.
