...for me. It was the Canon S200SPx. I previously had a 100GBP Epson printer but the thing wasn’t working anymore. Something inside broke and I even when I sent it for repair, but nothing helped. ‘No spare parts were able to be found’ and that is what the repairman told me.
I used it for about a week, but I did not fully test it. This is due to the fact that my brother came back to take the printer away for his own use in some other state. I’m left ... ...look good as well.
Although Canon claims this printer to have 2880x720 Dpi, with vivid photo technology, it just wasn’t outstanding enough. Taking in the paper was no problem at all, and so far there has never been a paper stuck or jams on it. It sucks in quite smoothly, prints it and vomits the paper out on the other side without having to worry at all. This printer only accepts A4 size papers or smaller. Not recommended for large papers. The reserve ...

Advantages: Very cheap to buy and run, compact. Disadvantages: Print quality not brilliant, a little flimsy.
I purchased a Canon S200x printer as a stop-gap measure when my absolutely dreadful Epson 680 gave up for good (a definite blessing in disguise!). I have since upgraded to the brilliant Canon i560 (which I have also reviewed) but used the S200 for a few months whilst I saved up for a better one.
The printer cost me less than £40 from the superb ebuyer.com - this is especially excellent when you consider that cartridges (unofficial) for the printer ... ...£70 i475. If you're expecting lightning fast top quality photo printing then you're gonna have to pay a lot more - personally I recommend the Canon i560, best printer I've ever used. No matter what, I'd take it over my hideous old Epson anyday! Thanks for reading, Tom. ...

Advantages: Good for those on low budget Disadvantages: You get what you pay for....
This printer is one of the better low end printers in the market today. It will suit the average student, home-office or family type environment. This printer is not good enough quality to be used as a photo or artistic printer. It is aimed at the budget group so do not expect too much speed. It can print up to 5 ppm but it takes around 1-2 minutes to start up.
This printer is very easy to install. It came with a driver cd, which was needed even ... ...the printer had of been plug n play compatible. The printer is very easy to use. Simply plug in, install ink, and install drivers. Then hit print.
The printer has limited (eg: no) extra functions. It is NOT at all in one or combination device. The printer supports A4,A5 and Envelope sizes. (Possibly other size combinations.)
This is still good value for money, as it is quite a cheap alternative. ...

Advantages: Fast , Convenient and Very Affordable Disadvantages: Low printing quality
...good quality papers. Canon ink cartridges are now universally sold by other cartridge manufacturers who make compatible cartridges for its printers where you can get it for very very cheap prices. The quality of course, is not fantastic but good enough.
On the physical look of the printer, it is pretty dull and outdated but it's size is small and compact which makes it takes up VERY little space.
This printer is very durable although it is going ... ...compatible cartridges, it's very useful for rough works. Although the printer is used for rough printing most of the time, it is very durable and does not breakdown easily, which makes it very reliable.
On usage wise, you just need to plug the printer to the power, joined it to your pc/laptop with the USB cable, install the driver which is all wizard driven, and you can start using it already. It's very easy to use and it automatic detects your ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: All colors combined in a same ink tank
The printing quality is not very good, satisfactory, I do not like the ink, when you use highlighter to highlight the words in the documents printed out by this print, those words will become blurred. Furthermore, when one of the color ran out, you will need to replace the entire ink tank, because three colors are combined in an ink tank. I would recommend this printer to anyone who are on tight budget and who dont use highlighter to highlight their ...

Advantages: Fairly good and fast printing Disadvantages: After 15 months and 80 prints stopped working. Even the simplest repair costs too much
...a friend and bought a Canon S200x. I am not a heavy user, I mainly use it for occasionally printing letters and very occasionally photographs.
The second time I changed the black inc tank (after 1 year and 3 months of use) I made 2 prints and after that the printer would make the right noises, the head would move, etc. but nothing was printed. I thought that perhaps the inc had dried out or the tank was defective, so I bought another tank but to ... ...Canon who told me that probably I had to replace the print head (after only 80 prints max!!!). Their technical dept. told me that I had to pay £35 just to have the printer examined and £25 to have the head replaced (if it was found faulty). A new S200x can be found in the Internet for £35. I have the feeling that I have definetly been ripped off. ...
