Advantages: Cheap, compact Disadvantages: Noisy, no output tray
...the store, I spotted the Canon Bubble Jet i250. Easily the smallest desktop printer on offer, and among the cheapest at £49.99, it seemed to fit the bill. (I later found it on sale at macwarehouse.co.uk for £46.99.) Canon struck me as a name to be trusted, too; although I hadn't bought any of their products before, they are a well-established brand with a reputation for quality.
Bubble Jet - 'BJ' to its friends - is Canon's proprietary version ...

Advantages: Very cheap to buy, cheap to run, fantastic print quality Disadvantages: Is quite noisy, does take a bit of time to warm inkjets
The i - 250 is one of canon's smaller and price concious printer's weighing in at around the £40 mark on the internet and about £50 - £60 in shops, not bad for a remarkable printer.
So lets cover the main aspects of the printer:
Design
Marks for design 8/10
The i - 250 has a rather 'fetching' design its small compact and honestly quite cute, it will fit on your desktop table with ease and wont make too much of a mess. The case is very ...

Advantages: cheap and good quality prints every time Disadvantages: no paper catcher
I bought this canon i250 bubblejet printer a quite a while ago now but still it produces top quality prints that you would expect from a canon printer of this price.
being very small and very very cheap at a price of £40 i have found now this printer is an absolute bargain. The white casing does not look cheap and would not ruin the look of a smart office. This size is a real advantage with it being rather small it easily fits in the corner of ...

Advantages: cheep, cheep to run (especially with compatables) Disadvantages: nothing i can think of
I had enough of buying expensive printers and them always breaking, so i have resorted to buying this cheep printer for £34. Not only is it cheep to buy, it is also cheep to run! Especially if you buy compatable cartriges for it
The first thing you notice when you get it out of the box is its unique looks, i quite like it! It has quite a small footprint. It kind of reminds me of a icecube ^^.
It will print 12pages per min black and 9 ppm colour, ...

Advantages: easy, cheap, does what it says Disadvantages: not one of these high tech new fangled things
We have now owned this Canon printer for quite a while and so far, it has worked pretty well, avoiding all the major problems such as paperjams e.t.c.
However, we do only use this printer at home for things like school essays and information from the internet, so it has never really been put under much pressure. For our needs it is plenty fast enough and relatively efficient. If on the other hand, you had a lot to print and needed it done ultra ...

Advantages: Ease of use, Cheap ink replacment cost Disadvantages: Noisy, no paper catch tray
When our old printer packed up we had to bit the bullet and get a new one. We didnt want memory stick slots, copier and scanner built in, camera docking, all we wanted was a printer that printed!
We have now owned this model for 14 months and it has been a joy to use. Simple USB connection and install software, with web print which is very handy!
The printer itself is quite compact and doesnt take up a lot of desk space. The paper feed tray folds ...

Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: no catching tray
For general use, the Canon i250 is not a bad little printer. The quality is of quite a high standard for a cheap printer, added to the fact, the cartidges are cheap too, and easy to insert, and it uses a USB for connecting, meaning it is almost no work to set up, you have every reason to give it a try.
I have had this printer a couple of months, and I am very pleased with it. It even looks nice. With a 600 x 600 dpi for B&W and 4800 x 1200 dpi ...

Advantages: Ease of use and cost to fill up Disadvantages: No output tray and sometimes noisy
I brought the Canon i250 from argos for £50. I feel that it was money well spent as it is a reliable as a wood burning stove and is as easy to use as a pair of scissors.
The money saved on the cost of ink on this printer is truly amazing as i used to spend upto £60 a time on a lexmark z55 printer i had previously.
The speed is not lightning but is good for a printer of this size and cost.
The printer can be noisy at times i will say that but i ...

...text per cartridge. The Canon replacements are a bit expensive but luckily I was able to find compatibles for around one pound per cartridge over the internet and these work fine. Another minor issue is that the paper sometimes gets stuck in the printer, either because it is not lined up properly or not ejected properly and the printer sucks it back in, but this only seem to happen in you are printing lots of pages. ...

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful, relatively quick, unmessy printing experience Disadvantages: Loud, paper feed temperemental, greedy for ink if printing photos
Design - Neat, fairly compact, light, stylish
Cost - £40 when new
Print quality - 5 levels user sets - draft levels print quite quickly and don't use too much ink. Photo quality is limited as this is a budget printer. It uses quite a bit of coloured ink if you choose top quality photo printing. Generally good for letters or other home / small business documents.
Installation - Easy - Just put the CD-ROM in the computer. Easy to set up - ...
